The overtake was beautiful but unfortunately he did clearly cut the triple right hander to overtake Raikönnen, if you don't believe that re-watch the overtake in slow-mo, he took all for wheels off the inside white line of the track, it would have been different if Raikönnen would have pushed him wide but there it's the inside that was cut.
ItzAnonymous it's not the fact he cut the corner. that's obvious even tho it was barely off the track but ehh. and even tho Raikkonen did squeeze a little bit but the point is everyone was extending track limits throughout the ENTIRE weekend and max happened to be the only one penatilized for it. that's what's caused the uproar.
It is nice to see Hamilton and Vettel can get along together.
So true.. only fanboys are the ones trolling around. Those two guys have their own accomplishment in F1 and have earn their right in becoming 4 times world champion

vincentmskwok just like Prost and Senna before Prost retired but particularly at McLaren or Hamilton and Alonso when they teamed in 2007, Hamilton and Rosberg get along with each other well, it's just the fact that they were in the same team and there wasn't a clear #1 to let them race each other for an easy championship as Mercedes had a dominant car

Nothing to say really about the actual incident. Everyone agrees that track limits were broken, but the issue will be the application of the track limit rule.
I swear, the 10 seconds before Charlie starts to talk are more human and insightful into drivers personalities then all the interviews in the world.

xhellystarx What is your point? Which part of what I said is not true? My point, in case you missed it, was that it's not so strange that teammates are far away from each other. Only Alonso and Vandoorne sit next to each other and, indeed, Verstappen and Ricciardo sit behind each other. Still 8 out of 10 duos are far away from each other.
JKosbro Yeah... my bad. Just because teammates are sitting far from each other doesn't mean they don't like each other (except for Checo and Ocon)
These are absolutely brilliant - Charlie does it so well and we learn so much about the support and see the drivers as real people doing real jobs. Very good.

Why did u stop these? new f1 fan in 2020 and these videos are amazing. Im loving f1 atm because you feel so much closer and feel like you know so much more about the sportsman then in any other sport. Bringing back these videos I feel will be very beneficial for the marketing of the sport.

I guess too many comments ended up being insults directed at one or more racers, which could end up being a legal grey area as well as the fact that it's not in the spirit of the channel or the sport.

I know you stopped recording these briefings because of the backlash but hoenstly this is a great insight into the drivers minds and brings fans closer to the sport.
Can I recommend recording these sessions and maybe releasing them a year or two years later when the championship is over so it doesnt affect the mindspace of the drivers?

He already did and his argument is that '' cutting corners on the inside is different than cutting them on the outside because you covering more distance so it's okay.'' Which is a ridiculous statement as sure, you cover more distance but it also allows you to cover that distance with a lot more speed so it's an advantage either way.
I have very little respect for Charlie Whiting, but he did cut the corner.
