It’s cooking up herd in PA, I’m lucky that there are natural springs on the farms I hunt so there’s always fresh cold water that’s a huge advantage for holding deer on your property.
Yeah the creek that runs through our hunting ground has several springs feeding it.
Here in southern Indiana it’s been wicked hot, but we got a good rain last night.
Sure hoping we get some soon
South Texas here ... somewhere around 19 days in a row of temps OVER 100! Heat factor == 107-113 most days!
Actual temp was 107 here yesterday smh.
Miserable here to buddy...when we do get rain it's all at once & fast. Still very dry. I cant wait either my friend.
It's been at least a decade since I've seen it this dry around here.
Finally getting some rain here in Kentucky. Poured for two days, supposed to get 6 more days of it
We're "supposed" to get 1.25 inches in the next couple days but we'll see.
Thanks for the info. I was wondering why I did not have any acorns this year. I have a lot of Oak. The spring was cold & late but once it broke it was warm. Then from about June 10 till fall we were 10 inch below normal rainfall. I do have a couple little marshes. I never thought to check the trees near them. It really put a hurt on my property for deer hunting this fall.
This year was rough here in Oklahoma. Driest I've seen in a long time.
