Well personal emotions aside, Samaspur Bird Sanctuary is 780 hectares of wetland which is an ideal habitat for the bird. It will not be kept in a cage! The place will provide better chances of survival to the bird. If not relocated to the Sanctuary, the bird would soon have been hunted down by the poachers, all thanks to his dear friend Arif who disclosed his location on social media, for gaining popularity. The bird needs protection more than love.

Sometimes, Rules need to be broken. The Bird is going to feel Abandoned now. That's why it was not eating, it misses his friend, mate.

Release that Bird for God’s sake
First thing, has it been reintroduced to its species ? Here in the video I see that they have kept the bird alone which is not the right approach. Imagine someone picking you from your residence and suddenly putting you in a foreign country where you have never been before. You will be confused what to do. You don't know the surroundings, you don't know the people , etc. Same thing happens to all living creatures. The bird doesn't know the wilderness, doesn't know the predators. So, in such a situation it will die either due to starvation or attacks by predators if it is released in the wild. Firstly, it needs to be introduced to its species, then it needs to be accepted by the wild ones of its species. If it is not accepted by its species then again it will die. During this entire phase a constant monitoring is required. Initially, humans need to supply some food until it learns how to forage food on its own. Also, it needs to be taught about predators in the wild. This has to be a gradual release. It is a mammoth task in itself. Will the forest officials do all these ? If not, then the bird should be sent back to Arif because he is whom the bird knows and will be safe.
