Yes I have 2 nice leather band watches I use when I go out for special occasions. The rest of my collection are all SS bands.

The V175 movement is the same as in the Solar Chrono Divers (SSC019), which doesn't have the crowded face; and has a 200M WR. You can find those chronograph divers for less than $200.

The strap keepers are normal. Most have a floating one. But I just don't care much for this one. I'll stick to my SSG001.

Good review. Totally agree on that leather strap (its just awfull) and that 12 should be lumed.
Also, that case looks like butchered version of the case of their Prospex gmt diver.

great review as always, even I'm not a fan of leather straps. also I want to say that almost more than half of Seiko automatic models are not available on Long island n I had a question can you shade some light on 7s36 vs 7s26 movement, difference n superiority between this two.

I bought this watch last month and absolutely hated it. My biggest gripe was the one thing you didn't mention....the size of the date window. It is TINY and so deep set it is virtually impossible to read. I DO NOT recommend this watch. I exchanged mine for an SKX 007 which is fantastic.

The tiny recessed date window makes it practically useless and it might be due to the thickness of the solar panels. It is also that way on the Prospex Sky solar chronograph which has the internal slide rule bezel. I considered this piece and never noticed that unsightly ledge! I can get the Prospex Sky but then again, I can get another Monster for the price!
