Excellent explanation Glen on how to play uneven lies! It was an interesting point that you made with the magnetic pointer on the wedge. I have always played it the way you illustrated, but never thought about it. Also interesting, was the uphill shot of which I am presented each week on #9 hole. After seeing your recommendation, I now know how to better hit the shot. Thanks For All Of Your Help Glen! Always Look Forward To Your Input!
hi Glen, another great video, thought I had my slope shots all sorted, but not now, as I've learned a lot today, thanks. One question if I can, playing my second shot on the 18th at Monash, I have the ball well above my feet on an uphill lie, factors all asking for a big draw !! But I have tall trees on the right, which just don't allow for me to aim right with a draw ? Suggestions ??
Thank you for your question Thomas. That’s certainly a challenging shot from that hill on the right side of 18 at Monash. I have 3 ideas for you, none of them straight forward: 1. Don’t hit it there, that’s a course management error. The goal off the tee is to find a flatter lie on the left side. 2. Beef up! A powerful hitter can hit a high draw over those trees! 3. Hit a fade around them. Definitely not easy from that lie, so the ‘slice’ needs to be exaggerated. Tip: use less loft to make it easier to fade. I look forward to hearing how you go. Cheers Glen
Can't wait to test this one out on the weekend!
Have fun! Thanks Dan
Hi Glen, Thanks for the great demonstration for proper technique on these lies. The magnetic tool was a great visual of the effect on the club face.
Glad it was helpful Phillip. Thank you 🙏
Great video thanks Glen. Little 7yo I know will learn a great deal out of this !
🥳 Awesome to hear! Thank you 🙏
Thanks Glen. This will really help me on the 18th at Monash. Always hit left!!!
That’s a steep slope there! Thanks Tracey. We look forward to hearing about your next effort on the 18th!
Thanks Glenn great videos
Glad you like them Keith! Thank you for your support. 🙏
