    Really enjoyed this version of your coop build. Love the ASMR. Hope your channel grows larger as I truly get pleasure from watching a young couple grow their life together. I have 3 questions I hope you might answer. 1. Has your baby arrived yet? 2. What is the brand and style of your headphones ? 3. What is the brand of the khaki pants you wear in these videos. Look very comfortable to move in and not bulky and hot like jeans. Keep up the good videos.

      Thank you so much! And yes 😊 just the other day. Both mom and baby are doing well!
      The headphones are Sony W4 and the khakis are actually from Walmart! I love them.

    Where did you get the windows? Is the long one a casement turned on its side? Awesome build!

      Thanks! The smaller windows were from Menards and the long window in the back was a free salvaged one we picked up!

      Thank you so much! For us it was around 2k. Majority was roofing cost as that was the only thing that wasn’t reused or bought at a discount. Not a cheap build but hoping it lasts a loonnng time!

      Thank you! It took about 6 weeks to finish, working only nights and weekends so not terribly long!

    Do you collect the rainwater off the chickencoop and run for the chickens or ducks or garden?? Do you collect any rain water at all.??? Have those little gaps at the end of the roof on the chicken coop blocked up to keep critters out or have they been covered with some kind of metal mesh for air circulation within the coop. Or was I seeing things when you were painting it.??
    Good build. I would be looking in to some antibacterial covering, or paint for the inside of the coop and old second hand linoleum for the floor and about 500mm up the walls in the future.. more for the chickens to do and have like swings, roosts, etc etc for their run, Just a thought.

    The twinkle string lights look nice, im going with 12v lighting, it has to be off grid for me, here power is expensive 34 cent a kwh... its ridiculous

      Nice, we talked about adding some solar power to the coop one day. Would be really nice to have!

      @@CypressSparrowHomestead I'm going sustainable with my coop, the solar will be powering my chicken guard door, No battery changes ever.

    I noticed in your Chickenrun that there is a gap outside the run and that any small weasel or animal that likes chickens will go under it. I’m not sure if you guys put hardware cloth around your run 12 inches.

    About how much was the cost of this project?

    • @CypressSparrowHomestead
      @CypressSparrowHomestead  7 месяцев назад

      It cost around $2000 for everything. Wasn’t cheap but hopeful it lasts us awhile!
