I was there last week at night with my gf. I definitely recommend to go there after dark to enjoy the night views. But they close at 7:00, so it's a little tight time wise.
I briefly met the black gentleman walking at the pier near the Baclayon church earlier this year.
It would be cool to meet you IRL also, but I haven't crossed paths with you yet. If you ever do a expat meet up somewhere, that would be nice too.

With béchamel, that sounds closer to Greek Pastitsio than lasagne. (At least where I'm from.) The chef is clearly good and the view is great. Excellent recommendation.

Looks good. There was a decent place right near there called Little Britain cafe, it is shut down now perhaps Covid related ???.....The owner was the chef and he made really great food, maybe its the same person who runs this place ?
the owner of Zara's is Swedish, so not likely the same guy. i searched for Little Britain on google but nothing came up.
Love that view, it's hard to beat! Seems to be some new places to explore in Panglao, I shall return!

a go-to place is the Alona Kew Resort. it is right next to the beach, has a swimming pool and is median-priced for the area. here is the maplink;

if you want to be right on the beach, there is the Hayahay@Genesis. much smaller but they have a great cafe where you can dine at tables on the sand. Vi and I love the food there. here's the maplink;

You have any suggestions on a place to stay for a week there? Been looking online but not book anything yet. I remember donating 5 bucks to you years ago on some live stream.
