I think most people would have chosen a box that had a screw on lid, I'm guessing he either printed this one himself and it wasn't a viable option to print the posts for screws, or he purchased this box and screw lid wasn't an option. Either way, I think it goes without saying everyone would prefer to have a screw on lid, but in this case it wasn't an option.
battery pack is connected in the form of 5S 2P so the maximum capacity is 7.2Ah (if the capacity of each battery is 3.6Ah - the highest capacity for 18650 battery) cannot be up to 40Ah as the title.
If it's 40Wh it's entirely possible.
21700 cell is 4000mah so at 3.7v it is 40ah

before anyone makes this battery, if you intend to bring it on a flight, this battery would not be allowed as the maximum capacity allowed on board is 100Wh. For standard 3.7V li-ion packs, that's 27027mAh.
You should use higher gauge wire for battery terminal connection
should use a lower gauge wire
higher number means thinner
lower number gauge wire is thicker

There ain't no way that is 40,000mAH. You'd need 12 batteries if you could find 3500mAH batteries. But as most are around 2600, you'd need 15-16 of them.
Those are 21700 cells, not 18650! They have 4Ah each

For example, if you connect 10 batteries in parallel, one of which is 3.7V and 4000mAh, then the capacity and voltage becomes 3.7V and 40,000mAh.
But if you connect them in series then it becomes 37V 4000mAh.

Those thin wires are used for balancing voltage between cells while charging powerbank. When powerbank is being discharged, current passes through nickel strips, thick black and red wires.

The way the other phone shows battery charging screen again when you connect a phone to it is concerning. There could be a voltage drop for a moment there.

For balancing I used 26AWG but for B+ and B- I used 20AWG and 0,15 x 8mm Nickel Strip

Would you sell one of these? I need one that fits the bottom of a specific backpack with as many batterys as can fit. Would pay according to what it is and obviously for your time and skill/equipment. Was going to space 3 stacks in PVC pipe but this is nice.
