I think the gas pressure washer put out a little bit thicker foam BUT NOT MUCH MORE.. very close definitely not worth to cry about.. I don't think it would make any difference whatsoever washing any car.
Could put the 1.1 orifice on the electric to probably get the same amount of foam but really how much of a difference will it make..
People don't realize no matter how good these foam cannons are there are plenty of videos showing they do not get all the dirt off of these cars and you can tell with any black or dark car that you write your name in before you start the cleaning.. You need to manually wash your car after you foam it up with a mitt if you want to get any car clean nothing replaces manual cleaning..

If you re-watch the the start of both you’ll see that the gas put off more runny foam than the electric, it’s started running as soon as he put it on but for the electric it barely rhad any run-off

    Thanks for making this video.
The electric PW owners are watching this video many times over… the gas PW owners watch the first half, say Nah! and move on…

I think its a little unfair to put it as Gas vs Electric. Especially when one has 2.x gpm and the other has 1.3. That imo makes a huge difference in itself.. From what i know and it may be from one of your videos.. electric pressure washer with 1.6gpm and above is sort of the benchmark to get good foam... so maybe a good comparison would be to use a 1.76 gpm electric pressure washer against this gasser.. level the playing field a bit more..

To get an electric pressure washer with that kind of GMP and decent PSI, you're going to be spending 2x the price of a basic gas pressure washer such as the one in this video. You might be 'leveling the playing field' on GPM but you blew it up on price.
I like this video as it's comparing the two overall types that 90%+ of the homeowners are deciding between.

Invest in a low end gas PW (and learn to take care of it) it can do so much more. Even very high end Electric PW can NEVER come close to gas PW when it comes to speed and thoroughness when cleaning driveways and patios and 2nd or 3rd story windows.
I have a 3100 psi 2.7 gpm, it set me back $299 10 years ago but still going strong.
Remember to use ethanol free gas. At the end of job Shut off the gas burn all fuel and let the engine die off. This will keep the carburetor as good as new.

I had a 2000 psi electric ryobi, it was good, but upgraded to the 3100psi gas ryobi, the only downfall is the sound, but the massive power output makes a huge difference with any soap, even on my cheap $15 foam cannon or $100 chemical guys max foam cannon.

If u put a 1.1 orifice in the foam canon and use the electric it will get you the foam u see on gas powered ones

lol! I have a ryobi 1800 psi with mtm. Changed that orifice to 1.1 and its still runny. I have gas now and it is shaving cream even with the 1.25 orifice. So please, i dont get this "get the 1.1 orifice" comments. If you want an electric PW with thick foam, get commercial. AR, Kranzle, Comet, North Star, etc... or build one

@@jethrobacolongy5387 i have a blue clean pretty much an older version of the one he has and then i used my dads 3300 2.4 gpm and it was layers on layers of foam, psi doesn’t matter bc a 1k psi 2gpm kranzle will out do a 2000 psi w 1.2 gpm all day

If you did not have a 1.1 orifice when you tested the electric and this was a waste of time 1.25 mm is for gas so it's not fair you should have switched orifices
