Thanks for your vids. I’m happy that there are some who are still using the traditional characters when teaching mandarin on youtube. Hope you also include 注音 on your next classes. In my opinion, it’s better than pinyin.

Glad my videos help!
I am a Chinese-Canadian lapsed Cantonese speaker. Your lessons are helpful to review my Chinese in both dialects. I find it difficult to recognize the standard written characters of mainland China because I started learning the traditional characters growing up in Canada. When I practice the Mandarin phrases with you, I immediately repeat them in Cantonese. I am also practicing Cantonese on the other channel. Thank you very much.

I get used to put always the verbs in the end of the sentence but today I see 'wo Jue de...' after the noun. So what are the verbs we must put them after the noun
I love these videos and I’m also writing them down. My question is there are two ways to write on screen are they both mandarin or is one Taiwanese?
Al Bundy Do you mean simplified and traditional characters? You can search that topic on my channel 😊
SMART Mandarin - Katrina Lee Yes; I guess I’m hearing you say in Taiwan so I think it’s Taiwanese instead of traditional character. Thank you for replying to me.
@@albundy4676 No top characters are traditional, used in Hong Kong, Taiwan and other places outside of mainland China. Simplified are the bottom characters and used in Mainland China. The reason simplified is used is political.
Xie xie katrina 'twas really helpful. Teacher katrina is it wrong to say hen lei instead of hao lei
