  • I’m on the southern most tip of Victoria to visit Raymond Island.
Raymond Island is a small island in the Gippsland Lakes in eastern Victoria. The island is approximately 6km long and 2km wide
Raymond Island is well known for its large koala population. There are over 250 koalas that live on the island.
Today I'm doing the famous Koala walk. You can walk around the suburban streets and spot wild Koala's in the trees.
For more info on the Koala's on Raymond Island check out the KORI Wildlife Shelters Facebook page koalasofraymondisland/

That’s a nice little hike. Interesting facts too. Jeez I’m surprised they can eat a kg of leaves a day. Also surprised that they can sleep 18 hours a day. That’s nearly as much as me on those cold winter rainy weekends 😜👍. Safe travels. 😃
