Id love to do some stuff like this. I understand I'm a world away for you and there's many variables, but how do you charge for something like this? And another question I have is, how thick is you mud? Looks like you have about 4 inches there. Do you think about half that thickness is fine? And are you using type N mortor?

    Instead of a piece tile under the flat wood, you could fix strip of 18mm ply to it, this would give another 2mm to tamper down, if the tile you are laying is 20mm

    How does this work out with the DPC?

    • @tidybrickslandscaping
      @tidybrickslandscaping  2 года назад

      The drainage channel helps keep water away from the dpc level 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

      @@tidybrickslandscaping I thought one had to be concerned about rain splashing up from the tiled surface and over the dpc . Hence the need for surfaces to be 150 mm below dpc?

    • @tidybrickslandscaping
      @tidybrickslandscaping  2 года назад

      @@chapman9230 also true but not everyone wants to step out to a lower patio most people want it flush with the inside so that’s the reason for the drainage channel to help this issue. Plus when you think about it it’s actually a pathetic reason for when water splashes on the house.
      So if your house can’t take rain water hitting it then there’s a bigger problem.
      Hope that helps 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
