ISLA CRISTINA, ⛵ a paradise for lovers of fish and virgin beaches.

Town located to the west of the province, on the tourist Costa de la Luz. Young, modern, hospitable and purely seafaring city; paradise for salted and canned fish, especially tuna. It has numerous points of tourist interest, from its magnificent beaches or complexes (Islantilla, Centro, Punta del Caimán) to the famous Carnival and the Atlantic Coral Festival.
In its terminus is the Isla Cristina Marshes Natural Area, a complex of marshes with habitats of different salinity on which different plant communities and important birdlife develop between the mouths of the Guadiana and Carreras rivers.

Acabo de estar recientemente y me ha decepcionado. Está muy mal cuidado, aceras levantadas por la raíces de los árboles, la playa con muchas conchas y piedrecitas para andar por la orilla y con muy pocas cosas que ver y hacer. Está mucho mejor ISLA CANELA, mucho más cuidada y playas de mucha mejor calidad, con aguas más tranquilas.

Gracias por el comentario. El pueblo es mejorable, como todos, pero tiene muchas zonas preciosas como el "faro" y el puerto. Y se come de lujo. En cuanto a la playa, todo el sur, especialmente desde Algeciras, tiene unas diferencias de playa tremendas según vayas en bajamar o pleamar.
Esta semana subiré un video hecho ese mismo día, de una parte de Isla Canela. Sitio más pequeño y fácil de mantener en condiciones óptimas. Saludos!!
