  • Welcome back fellow Aviators! On this flight I modified my plans a couple of times to avoid having any trouble with the weather. I was headed home and wanted to be sure I did not miss Mother's Day. Come along and check it out!

Weather is dynamic so we must be willing to change as well. When in doubt, chicken out! Enjoy the videos!

"When in doubt, chicken out!" I may use that! It was really interesting, that rain shower went from light to moderate and back to light in very short order. We have all seen it while on the ground but seeing it in the clear air was really interesting.

@@TheFlyingSalesman my grandfather used to tell me that all the time during flight training with him. Good moto!

@ProPilotPete I am putting that one right next to: "It's easier to explain why you went around, than why you didn't."

Hey Matt great video as usual. I need to get some numbers on overhaul of an altimeter for my 64 172E.

Awesome, send me an email to info@theflyingsalesman.com and I will get you what you need. If you have a part number that would be great, otherwise I will quote you for a standard 20K United altimeter.

Might have a few steam gauges needing refreshed on my 68 Cardinal. Are you based at KDTN ? Likely I'll be making a stop there sometime in June.

@@TheFlyingSalesman In process of purchasing the aircraft. Waiting for annual to get finished down at KELA near Houston. CFI doing the transition training with me is based at KDTN, so at some point will be dropping him off there during my trip to KSUS near St. Louis. Will hopefully be soon.
