- Is it possible to make the bolt snap better without going into unnecessarily complicated design? It was one of our challenges for 2018 and we improved just... everything in our NX Series bolt snap.
A completely new shape of the head provides better support for the finger and more assured grip. A larger opening, a perfectly slim hook part of the head and a large trigger make clipping amazingly easy, especially in thick gloves. Finally, the weight to strength ratio has been optimized to make it over 30% lighter than a regular bolt snap.

Just had these in my hands for the first time recently... it's a night and day difference. So much easier to use than traditional bolt snaps. You prove that even basic things can be improved.
The ONLY bolt snap! Yet another great R & D result of XDEEP.
Now use them for 1 year. Super satisfied, really can´t think of how to do this any better!
Love those bolt snaps, definitely all these benefits that Patrick has described are incredibly valuable for divers. I use them pretty much on everything where we need bolt snaps nowadays! The only feedback would be that the double-enders are kind of large. Would definitely befit having a slightly smaller version of it.
I absolutely adore these bolt snaps.
I have 4 small eye snaps:
1. Long hose
2. Backup dive light
3. Folding knife
4. Wetnotes
I have 4 double ended snaps:
1. 15m spool & orange dSMB
2. 30m spool & yellow dSMB
3&4. Spares
And 1 large eye snap:
1. SPG
I'll be adding a couple more small and large eye snaps for my sidemount setup.
have all of the sizes and want to get some more. these are great.

Oh, they're sooooo smooth. So easy to manipulate. And they have a slightly larger gate than regular bolt snaps.

@@xdeepdivingequipment8937 There are a lot of stupid people in the 🌎 but it's a nice grif. I buy generic SS single and double-enders all day online from 🇨🇳 for $2-$3 a piece!

I replaced all my bolt snaps for XDeeps, and I haven't regretted it for a second. In fact, I'll continue to replace standard bolt snaps for XDeeps anytime I can. They're sooo much easier to manipulate than regular bolt snaps. They have a slightly larger gate, operate smoother, have lighter springs, provide more leverage when wearing gloves. Yeah, XDeep FTW.
