Thank you for sharing this video! Harriet Tubman was a wonderful soul. She was amazingly brave in the face of adversity and injustice! She knew she was doing God's work. I am sure she is rewarded in heaven. All the best to you on your travels from Massachusetts!😊🌲
@@nehann2white776 I just looked at a soy bean farm and wouldn't you know, it looks like they were soybeans. Thanks so much for identifying that crop for everyone! 🙏🏾
Nice 🖤 To know what our people went through that grants us with improved access to the world is just priceless. Of course it’s still visibly imbalanced, but definitely better than their experiences. For a lot of our people to live such reckless lives and not be moved to be better because of them just sucks.
Yes, I’m most definitely grateful for my life and freedom. I can’t imagine the hardships and pain that Harriet and all other slaves experienced. It makes my heart heavy to even think about those truths. But the ways that have been paved by all that have come before us, gives me great honor and motivation to indulge in my life and career, be my best and share with the next generations coming up behind me. I’m so very thankful and I hope I make my ancestors proud. R.
Wow! I can't say it any better. The cycle of time is interesting and I can only hope Ive contributed something to better the world for our descendants. Im also grateful and fortunate that so many endured what I havent had to and paved away for me to live more freely than they and to be able to share videos like this. Thanks for sharing. 🙏🏾
Amen! I think you’ve said it very well also my friend !! How fortunate are we to get to do the things that we LOVE to do, while getting to share with others and inspire 😃!! I’m constantly Amazed🙏🏾! Thank You for sharing 😉! Happy Sunday 🤗☀️!!
Hi, Kenny, thanks for sharing Harriet Tubman’s probable birthplace with us. I’d like to put in a rec for the movie HARRIET (2019) with the great Cynthia Erivo. Well worth watching, too! Cody
Hey NW 👋 I'm sorry I'm so late on watching, went on a month long trip, amd trying to catch up some. This was such a well done video, it's wonderful to highlight the history of Harriet's life! Thank you 😊
Hey! Hope you had a great time on your trip. Thanks for the kind words about the video. Her story is interesting and visiting where she was from fascinating to think about. Thanks for stopping by!
Very nice.. Author Glynette Tilley Turner wrote books on stops in Illinois in The Underground Railroad in Illinois. They went as far north as Canada. Elijah of Buxton by Christopher Paul Curtis talks about their settlements in Canada. Thanks for sharing!
Your right! I realized when editing the video I said it went as far north as Hershey, Pennsylvania but I believe I was thinking the tour of the railroad stops. I learned recently that even cities like Cincinnati, Ohio were very important stops. The network of people and resources to free people is very interesting. Thanks so much for sharing that me and other viewers and thanks for stopping by!
@@novelworldtravels Yes. I worked at Wheaton College, a Christian college and it was a stop on the underground railroad. A lot of good people both white and black helped our ancestors

It says in Wikipedia that she worked in Tobacco Stick in Dorchester County, Maryland. Hope that helps identify the crop, possibly.

It does suck. It's definitely good to reflect on their experiences and have gratitude for what we have. Thanks for sharing
Yes and to be mindful of what the ancestors gave and our responsibility to keep it moving forward.

I guess that's what they eventually did. Went across the river.
