In this video we go over each individual Mega Man X game and figure out which boss from every Sigma Fortress is the absolute Worst!!

as a subscriber i must ask why zero (X2) counts as a castle boss and not a cutscene but vile (X1) doesn't (besides being cooler of course)
The cover lies. It says Iris is the worst X4 castle boss, but you say it's Double.
I honestly agree why Iris is a better castle boss than Double. Double being evil comes right the fuck out of nowhere and has no impact on X. Meanwhile, Iris is the most _heartwrenching_ fight in the game, with the purpose of making you and Zero feel horrible for not sparing Repliforce and blindly obeying some paranoid humans that were jumping off the slippery slope. Even the fact Iris is easier than Double makes sense both in and out of universe. In universe, Iris is not suited for combat. Out of universe, _you're essentially killing a helpless little girl that just wants a world with no war._
The boss in X6 is known as Nightmare Mother, well, I never heard it called a "devil."But you do have a devil of a time stopping it
1: Rangda Bangda. Having to do platforming challenge is a good idea... until you remember merely grazing a spike is an instakill, including those that didn't even fully load yet.
2: Violen. It's just Violen with no big alterations. And the small alteration of adding random platforms isn't making the fight any more fun.
3: Mosquinus*/alternate bosses. I had to give a special dishonourable mention to Mosquinus because the method of unlocking the Z Saber defies common sense. The alternate bosses aren't as fun or climactic as the battles against O' Inary or Goliath Armor.
4: General as Zero. Have fun not seeing where the attacks come from and struggle to hit the boss without cheese strats.
5: Shadow Devil/Rangda Bangda W. In general, Zero Space just makes me ask myself "why was *this* the thing you brought back?" These are two fights that I already didn't like because they go on forever made worse by my patience being worn out from Zero Space as a whole.
6: Gate. This fight takes *10 minutes* when you're doing well thanks to the way you damage him.
7: skipped, but I feel like Red would probably be my pick thanks to almost being Gate's fight in 3D.
8: Vile. Not a bad fight, but in the Jakob Elevator I feel like he should already be on his Ride Armor to make the fight more different than the random encounters.

On one hand, Gate has the most annoying boss layout and the worst way of dealing damage to him (screw those orbs)
On the other hand, auto-scrolling boss fights are terribly boring and unfun to fight. X7 of course being the worst offender. Screw that game in general.

I take offense to what you said about Gate’s combat armor because I think I think he looks amazing in it. I love the gold color and the blue diamonds all around it, and especially the cape, but than again, we have our own opinions, so I’m not too offended.
Honestly, Gate's boss design is the only thing I like about him. XD

Where did you get "Rangda Bangda 2" from? It's "Rangda Bangda W"
Honestly I also think Zero is technically a final boss phase. Not only because he is directly before Sigma, but also because there is no checkpoint between them. Dying on Sigma 2nd phase (which I never did, duh.) brings you back to the stages beginning.
So yeah, to me Zero un X2 has more final boss potencial than Professor Sigma in X7 or true Sigma in X8, as they both have weirdly checkpoints after them. Probably for all the pussies and non-subscribers out there
Having all these rules for what is and isn't a 'castle boss' makes the whole thing feel silly. I mean, you found a way to disqualify around 40% of the boss fights in all the castles (excluding robot master rematches of course)

X4 and X5's final levels aren't really castles.
Not exactly a myth or anything but it's a dumb belief I had as a child.
You know how Armored Armadillo leaves a hole in the ceiling which he comes out from? I've always been SURE that if you climbed up that hole, it'd take you on a shortcut to the final boss.
I still say that for me, X2 Zero doesn't really count as a castle (or Sigma) boss, as this is one is a penalty for not taking a de-tour on the maverick stages to get his parts from the X-Hunters, but overall, the list is spot-on, I say no more.
I generally enjoy your content, but at this point, you’re just repeating videos…lazy content. Easiest/best, hardest/worst could be just 1, maybe 2 videos. It’s been stretched out for over 2 weeks now. Maybe ask the community for ideas if you’re running out of ideas
He's talked before about how he has bigger projects in the pipeline and these vids aren't meant to be taken too seriously
@@reesecarlton oh yeah, I know…been watching his vids for over a year now. I’m a fan, but I’d like to see those new ideas come to fruition. He milked those TAS speedrun vids for a while too and even before that, he did the best/worst, hardesr/easiest, prettiest/ugliest vids for both the reg mm and x series
