I've been needing something like these for an upcoming project. Great timing! I bought the set with just the brushes. Thank you for the review and link!
Oggie, your figure painting skills have gone off the charts. Nicely done. For my dry brushing, I use makeup brushes and makeup sponges. They come is a huge range of sizes and are very affordable. Cheers - Virgil
These look great. You're an excellent figure painter to begin with. Looking forward to possibly seeing them at Wonderfest this year. Just booked my hotel and got my airline ticket. I'm ready to go. Will be my first one.
Nice & timely video. I bought these brushes a while back - was a bit puzzled about the sponge & soap! Good tip on not using paper towels to brush away excess paint. Impressed with the achieved results with the techniques you showed. Looking forward to trying them out.
I don't know how I missed this video but thanks to Ken Spriggs for letting me know he just saw I got this set and pointed me over to the video. Excellent review of the brushes thanks O!
Great video. Like the tip about using packing foam instead of using paper towels. I had never heard of a texture box until now. Going to look at building one of my own. Video is only an hour old and the prices have gone up already! LOL
Really? That’s interesting, the link still shows $21.56 on my end. What’s it showing on yours? Thanks for the nice comments. Also the packing foam is resusable. The paint washes right off the foam.
Between these brushes or the army painter master class, which of the two’s bristles feel better? I’m gravitating toward this set as it’s more brushes plus the dampening and soap for the same price as the AP dry brush set.

I’ve actually not tried the army paintr brushes but othr reviews i’ve seen lean towards the artify set.
