It was nice to have blue skies. It's been a pretty cold wet summer here.
@@OzADVRiderEl Nino mate...plus global warming is definitely changing weather patterns too. Feels like it hasn't stopped raining here in SW UK since 2019 😂😂 I'm almost as rusty as my van now 😂

It was a good mix. The first 3 bikes to turn up were T7's, so it was looking very one-sided for a while.

Very nice through the Brisbane Ranges but I noticed there were no open tracks to explore, just the main gravel roads.
@@OzADVRider that may be a good thing with a big group of riders… tough to keep everyone moving

Interesting group, nice to see old mate sit on his bike while you lifted the Norden 901 up, I know it's all a matter of perspective, having all the cool expensive gear doesn't help make you a better rider
That was a tricky spot, steep and very loose gravel. I think the Norden had to make a quick turn to avoid the other bike that must of lost traction.
I was a bit nervous leaving my bike like that but managed to get it in a ok position.

Group riding has its pluses & minuses. What are your thoughts on the overall ride?
Definitely has it's positives and negatives. Bigger the group the more dust and slower it goes.
Great on a social aspect and I was keen to meet some locals.
The ride itself was pretty good, bit easier than I would normally do and a lot of areas I knew but the Brisbane Ranges was really cool, never been there or thought to go there.
There’s the chance that you could explore with 1 or 2 like minded riders.
