I am just astounded.... ppl want a fast fix for everything nowadays.... cryptocurrency is for the long term to see the value.... if u r in it for a short term, looking for a peanut transaction, pls don't invest in crypto

Well to be honest, there isn't much to invest in it. Like, only a few megabytes of storage and tapping a single button in 24 hours which takes hardly 10 seconds. So there isn't much to lose here. As for me, I'm in it for long term, even if it takes 20-30 years, I'll still mine it. So, yeah.

Are you saying that Pi's only source of income is through ads in the app? Or do they have other backers, and if so - who? A naive way to see this is that they would also charge a fee for each Pi currency transaction once Phase 3 starts, did you see any mention of that somewhere or do we not yet know how it will roll out?
If you consider 13 million users out of which many - especially in countries like the US, UK, AU, IR, CA,... - will likely see one ad per day, that sums up to a lot of money and more than likely enough to cover the costs and pay for the KYC verifications.
Regarding the rollout and transaction fees are explained in the white paper, serach for "Transaction fees" at minepi.com/white-paper and you'll find the paragraph about it.
They say your "mining" crypto on your phone but all your doing is logging on once a day. I don't know how people trust an app that lies to you from the start, its not a good sign.
If you judge any business by how they phrase certain parts of their message in their marketing efforts then you can't trust 99% of businesses out there.
Pi Network is quite transparent about the details in it's white paper. Sure they should probably also clarify that in their F.A.Q. but considering all the other aspects I've soon so far I more than willing to overlock that poor choice of words.

Hey Christin, can you please explain as to how errors unwittingly or unwittingly done at or after registration? For example I obviously could not give the govt. document name and during the stipulated time frame I couldn't rectify it either. I made requests with regard to thos in different ways but still have got a chance to correct my name.Will I be able to face the KYC?

Do you know if when I started Pi I used my nick name (which different from my passport) but with real last name linked to my mobile of course. Do you think would that be any trouble later on,? I tried to changed in profile settings but it didn’t allow me.
Theoretically that might be a problem, but considering how many people missed the last chance to update/fix their names I'm expecting that Pi will provide another chance for everyone to do so.

Do you have the YOTI app on your phone? Is your personal data in YOTI (name, birthdate,...) verified in YOTI?
I want to ask , if Yoti ask for a photo of an official document such as ID , drivers license or passport , so for example , does it directly send the whole photo that I have taken and send to Pi or does it only extract some info from the photo that is required by Pi ?

The core team promised to introduce alternative methods but so far they haven't delivered any so you'll just have to wait.
BUT I think no matter which method they introduce it will still require some kind of government issued ID.

Some of your questions are answered in this exact video... we will see how the transfer of coins work once Pi adds the wallet function and reaches phase three.
so if i understand correctly, They (pi network) do NOT have direct access to your photo of your ID you uploaded on YOTI? So basically a copy of your ID stays within YOTI and is not shared with Pi network?
As far as I know Pi only received the name, birthdate, and stuff but not the picture, so YOTI just confirms "Yes, this user provided this data and verified it with their ID", but does NOT forward the ID.

That's fine. When I signed up originally there was no option for "Apple ID".
The only thing missing is the KYC verification in the future.

I don't think there currently is a name for fractions of Pi coins. Likely also not needed since Pi only has 4 digits after the decimal wheras BTC has 8.

But besides that I try to focus this channel 100% on passive income that either requires no investment like Pi, or only a one-time investment like Helium, PlanetWatch,... to hopefully help more people get some money to invest and build multiple income streams.

You don't have to worry, every user will have to complete the KYC verification sooner or later and once we are in phase three all unverified accounts will get removed.

You'll eventually receive a KYC invitation. That won't happen until you mined for at least 100 days though.

No, you just don't earn coins during that time, but you can then come back and continue where you left off.

No, you won't have to pay but if you just plan to withdraw your money on day #1 then it's not going to be worth a lot and you are going to ruin Pi for everyone else.

You do NOT have the same username. Check the profile page in both accounts and you should see that it's not the case.
i didn't understand, when im mining, all the Pi coins that i have will be gone once Pi network will be officially launched or no?
If you don't verify your account (KYC) your coins will be burned eventually. If you do verify (KYC) then you'll keep your coins.

I have never heard of yoti and I have no idea about what to do with it . I have pi installed for some months. When I view my profil there is a green check( ✅) near my Facebook profil .do I need to do anything else to be verified ? Do I have to download yoti or something ? 😥
Yes, you still need to pass the KYC verification for which Pi currently is using YOTI.
You just have to wait and eventually you should get an invite in the Pi app to do that, which will then require you to set up your account at YOTI verify your identity with them. Pi will then just ask YOTI if you did that and that's it.

I have become a Pi Network member for over two months, and never verify my phone number on pi network account yet, I just couldn’t sent those 4 digits to any of the countries( USA, United Kingdom......etc.) can I still verify my phone number, is too late to verify it? Please help.
If you can't send the verification code then simply link your Facebook account instead. Only one of the two things is needed.

Hi, I registered using my mobile number a long ago. Then upon checking my profile, there is that I need to verify my number also my Facebook is verified. My question is do I have to verify my mobile number even I'm verified in Facebook?

Unfortunately no. But if you still remember your password you can login with your old phone number and password into your account.
Why not use stablecoins like Dai or USDC as a savings account? We can put them into Celsius or other sites and get 5-10% passive return. Is there a negative to this?
Not sure how that relates to this video? But yes, stable coins are in general a good alternative to regular savings accounts, but it depends which stable coin since they all also have at least a small risk involved.

Sir, how long will it take to change my number? I mistakenly typed a single wrong number and have messaged them already via pi.app/support. They replied that they would prioritize "constructive proposals" and "critical issues which cannot be resolved by FAQ, Community Wiki, Pi Chat moderators" etc. Will I still be able to keep my Pi coins after changing my number and verifying it via the changed number? Hoping for you reply .
If you just started your account I'd recommend you just create a new one with the right number OR if you already have some coins you don't want to lose simply link your Facebook account as well in "main menu > profile".
Don't forget that there are 14+ million users right now and the core team likely is drowning in messages.

If you used Facebook to sign up you can just login again with your Facebook account.
If you used your phone number you have a "Forgot Password" option during the login process.
You are saying that pi coins are already mined, we are now receiving rewards. If it is already mined by core team then how much it has total supply??
Don't know. The total supply will only be known once we transition into phase three and all coins from unverified accounts get burned.

Sorry, I'm not part of the Pi core team so I can not help you with that issue. You'll just have to wait for Pi to allow users to update their data once more.

Yes, that's fine. You'll still eventually get your KYC notification and will be able to complete it.
Can I boot non-active miners after a particular time?
No, but they also don't harm your account in any way.

Nope, Pi wallets are yet to come, so I'm not sure what you mean. The only thing you should prepare is your YOTI account for the KYC verification.

i did something very stupid a while ago... i made a second accout with verifation of my another facebook profile but now i see it was a bad idea.. i really regret what i did but i cant delete the account when its already created. Im scared for my main pi. what will happen to it?
Simply log out of account #2. If you used account #1 as referral in account #2 also go to your earning team in account #1 and report account #2 as fake.
You'll just lose the referral bonnus you gained from account #2 (if you used account #1 as referral for account #2).
