If you look at the explorer, the higher densities are in: US East Coast and California; UK and Netherlands in EU; South America nil; Africa nil; a few hotspots in China; India SE Asia nil; Australia/NZ nil. As for the extra 200/300.000 hotspots, I'm pretty sure they will create more congestion in the same areas that are already swarming with miners. Unless they keep rewarding ppl located in new areas for joining the network, I don't think they will be able to build the New Internet especially if there is a 6-8 month waitlist to purchase a hotspot.

The goal is to have worldwide coverage with low power transmitter hotspots. This would probably require 1 to 2 million units worldwide. The reward per miner will be drastically reduced in just a little over 6 years (2027) there will be 1/8 as many rewards. Figure 1 million units competing for 210,000 HNT. It still pays if you get 0.20 HNT per month if HNT are $200 - $300 each. When neighborhoods are saturated, miners will be sold & moved to areas that need more coverage.
They have added more Helium hotspots since this video was published in May 2021 than people who have viewed this video by the end of September. 126K views by 9/30 and 200, hotspots passed last weekend. Thank you for this. It was definitely worthwhile. However, I really, really wish that you hadn't limited his answer to "...just one tip...." on question 14. I am certain he could have delivered many excellent and extremely useful tips for miners or potential miners....and that to me is the best info for many of us to have gleaned from this man.
I was just about to order three helium miners but after doing the math: with the upcoming halfing and enormous influx of miners over the next several months, the rewards will reduce by 75%. What's the sense? I'm NOOB am I missing something?
They assume/ hope that the price of HNT will increase by alot so that it is still profitable to mine and maintain the network. Then again, i need to study more the project, just found out about it 20 min ago :)) and from what i see it is impossible to get a miner from official sources and on my local resell market they are selling them for 3000+ euro and that is insane :)))
So how will we be rewarded going forward after halving? What will be the reward for data transfer? As the helium distribution will go down? As I dont really see people keeping this going once there is very little reward down the line.
Hi Jimmy l live in Austria and the only ones you find are in Vienna in the capital. I'm 2 hours from Wienna and my area is not at all ... I just ordered 2 and I'm so excited not only for them and for the whole Helium project I really believe in. I hope it doesn't disappoint me because it's the first currency in which I truly believe. By the time I get the bobcat the Helium will nearly all be gone .... As helium by then will be approx. 2.5years old. My calculations make that the helium earned will run out approx. 12 months after the arrival of my new Bobcat. Have a got this right at a maximum allowed Helium is 223 Million tokens divided by 5 million per month (so this works out to 44.6months of available tokens from start date) and at this present date Helium is approx. 24 months old Apart from building the network what other incentive to do this. Frank seems to be saying there is no incentive other than the build of the network after the helium has run out. Please can you put my mind at rest?????? Thank you in anticipation Garry

But when your guest talks about its not about mining helium coins but more about being part of a new telco company. I was just about to order three helium miners but after doing the math: with the upcoming halfing and enormous influx of miners over the next several months, the rewards will reduce by 75%. What's the sense? I'm NOOB am I missing something?
They assume/ hope that the price of HNT will increase by alot so that it is still profitable to mine and maintain the network. Then again, i need to study more the project, just found out about it 20 min ago :)) and from what i see it is impossible to get a miner from official sources and on my local resell market they are selling them for 3000+ euro and that is insane :)))
@@voidspirit111 exactly and by the time they arrive in 4 months wait time, it may be mining with zero rewards...
So how will we be rewarded going forward after halving? What will be the reward for data transfer? As the helium distribution will go down? As I dont really see people keeping this going once there is very little reward down the line.
Hi Jimmy l live in Austria and the only ones you find are in Vienna in the capital. I'm 2 hours from Wienna and my area is not at all ... I just ordered 2 and I'm so excited not only for them and for the whole Helium project I really believe in. I hope it doesn't disappoint me because it's the first currency in which I truly believe. Thanks to Jimmy for the tips and videos that really help a person who wants to get into this project that I think will be huge.

I am about to buy 1 bobcat 300 but it is a 7 - 12 month lead time. By the time I get the bobcat the Helium will nearly all be gone .... As helium by then will be approx. 2.5years old. My calculations make that the helium earned will run out approx. 12 months after the arrival of my new Bobcat. Have a got this right at a maximum allowed Helium is 223 Million tokens divided by 5 million per month (so this works out to 44.6months of available tokens from start date) and at this present date Helium is approx. 24 months old Apart from building the network what other incentive to do this. Frank seems to be saying there is no incentive other than the build of the network after the helium has run out. Please can you put my mind at rest??????

I was watching this just to get updated on what is going on with helium and I really give it to them. I already bought a Hotspot just waiting for it to ship. This guy is great !! Love it I looked at other Hotspots and he is so right why would I pay several grand for a Hotspot that isn't worth it ... had no idea that the Napster help start helium tho that's cool..loved his final answer someone give this guy a lambo

I am all in about getting paid to help build the network. I bought 9 negra machines and waiting till july to receive. But when your guest talks about its not about mining helium coins but more about being part of a new telco company. Does that mean we will get a piece of the gross sales earned by helium or just gloating rights. Lol
When it becomes telco what will be the monetary reward as Internet is very cheap generally
Truth is there's alot of grey areas as of when they face these situations it could go anyway reap the reward while it's here right now !

I have a suggestion. Why dont you use dropshipping? One page to handle all orders and payments would solve the problem for all manufacturers and new customers. I would have ordered a Bobcat if it had a better payment solution but just crossing my fingers that they solve the payment asap.. Keep upp the good work @Frank Mong best of luck from Sweden. :-)
