I’ve been watching her late night standups cos I liked her set on the Netflix show. It traced me back to here and I can’t believe she made her tv debut on Conan 6 years ago!
i love how Conan transparently floods her with compliments about how funny she is at the end... that last joke about The Bachelor made me chuckle though
There is not a doubt in my mind that all of these negative remarks are coming from frightened virgins. I've never met Beth but that was a solid and incredibly poised Conan set.
Sometimes... when I watch Beth... I like to imagine the future... like 2045... and Beth and I are sitting on our porch... in our rocking chairs watching another sunset and she turns to me and says, "Uterus!" and we fall about laughing... somebody... tell me that this is normal... o_O
Beth Stelling is incredible. A 4 min set doesnt give you enough time to get used to her style. she is a unique hilarious deadpan comedian.The crowd doesnt know what to do unless they are spoonfed setup punchline jokes. As a comedian myself I can tell you, Beth is a COMICS COMIC. She has impressed any true comedian fan or comedian who has seen her. Dont worry I am sure there is a Dane Cook movie you can rent somewhere dummy.

I meant that I was physically in the audience at the day of the showing when Ms. Steeling was doing her tidbit and there was general laughter among the audience. What I meant by that "the studio doesn't do justice" is that the audience microphones are occasionally droned out so that they don't dub at the full volume during segments such as this one. I found her funny and that's an honest, a perfectly subjective, man's opinion.
with anything on youtube you are gonna have haters.. this lady is funny, besides the fact that we are watching and discussing her right now prove how fr she has come in her industry. she does not need anyone's approval.

Like any reasonable person, I find haters on RUclips irritating and useless. But it's simply a statement of fact that this girl didn't make me laugh even once.

She had her moments but had a very small margin on her subjective subjects. Like, I haven't been in a cvs in over 3 years, for an example. She seems like a peoples person (to see the flaws of others..) but can't understand, why, that not all people like you or get you..

But i'm not hating on her, i really want there to be more funny girl comics.. i was just sad to see someone as unfunny as her.. because it will further the whole "girls arent funny" thing.. AND this is just my opinion, if you like this the good for you! But for me this doesnt cut it. And yeah, i watch shows with girl writers on 'em.. of course i do. and i know i do.. i'm not hating on girls generally.

Beth Stroking is great. This was not her best set.
I think there are a lot of funny female comics out there nowadays. Unfortunately, she's not one of them.
