Watching this I realise that I am seeing possibly one of the greatests stand up routines I have ever seen.... he completely owns the crowd as that beautiful piano flows... and his timing is perfect! His material is excellent and he does a great job at delivering it.... Standing ovation!

His Netflix special was kinda so so when I watched it a few years ago, but the more I've checked him out since the more I love him. Looking forward to another special.
Yeah the first 20 minutes or so of the Netflix special are a little flat but it gets really funny about a third of the way in. Still I agree the Conan sets are better combined than that one special on its own.
Man... this was 7 years ago. I just found Rory.... kind of embarrassed.

For me this is the single best act of a comedian appearing on any talk show ever. It's perfect, his timing, confidence, music in the background, the jokes are well put together and those little moments of unexpected that give it something special, like him screaming "ANSWER ME" 😂 Gets me every time

Saying the piano guy is on the “ones and twos” is an underrated line.

One time that sticks out for me was when a band I was playing in at the time rehearsed in a storage facility. We needed trash bags so 3 of us (stoned to the bone) stopped at the local grocery store and must have spent a solid 10 minutes in the aisle comparing prices breaking down price-per-bag, size and durability.

Rory killed it! I’ve been on a deep dive watching all his standups and this night by far he was most in tune with his material and the crowd. And the piano background was the cherry on top!

Wow, super great. It's refreshing to see someone with original funny material. Most comedians are saying the same things. This guy has a sense of humour about things (which sounds obvious, but is surprisingly rare). I hope he continues to do what he thinks is funny and not just pander-y bs. I laughed a lot during everything I've watched of his.

I was kind of smiling the whole time until he said "SALT!... I have no idea where that is, this could be hours" lmao mostly because that was me trying to find Q-tips stoned last weekend.
5:11 I was eating chicken. I went from laughing and eating, to somehow reverse inhaling the chicken into my nasal cavities, and struggling to breath. Have you ever snorted hot chicken? I couldn’t blow my nose or swallow it back down. I was crying, the dogs were barking, and my wife suddenly had to decide if I needed the heimlic maneuver
