"NO!"
- Why?
"THE SUN IS A DEADLY LASER!"
- Oh, okay.
Most memorable line!
🤣🤣😂😂
Where is the Not anymore, there's a blanket
@@OnMyMindEntertainment and this is how the "THE SUN IS A DEADLY LASER" meme began
My so. Keeps asking me “can we watch the 'The sun is a deadly laser!' video again?” (With a perfect impression of the voice)
I have it as my notification ringtone, lol.
I've seen this video a stupid number of times, and yet I'm still excited to watch it once more.
Same!
Same!
There’s so much info can never catch it all
Same lol
Same...
This is one of my favorite videos of all time! Between showing it to people, watching it on my own, and watching reactions I've probably seen it 25-30 times and can almost do the whole thing word for word. It's brilliant and took the creator 2 years to make.
The sun is a deadly lasserr
Same!
Me too!! It's almost a musical!😂😂🖖
Same! 🤩 i found people like meeee
Bill himself said it took 11 months if im not misrembering
I would have learned so much more if school was taught like this.
Right!! Lol
Crazy how you can take any 5-seconds of this video and be able to write a full research paper on it.
The five seconds between that's how every it gets and forget this I wanna be something go somewhere I want things to change lines
@@cheesusgaming1769 That too. Everything existing everywhere and everywhen and "probably already happened" is a whole theory about our perception of time. I'm sure there's a lot of research on it.
@@AlejoConejo-vb8ln fair argument
@@AlejoConejo-vb8ln wat about the 5 seconds that say thanks for watching at the end?
@@cheesusgaming1769 can write about how you need to twerk
reasons i like this guy:
-doesnt pause every 3 seconds to commentate
-is actually chill and knows about the topic
-funny
-doesnt extend the video longer than it should be
😃🙌🏿
But he constantly forces a laugh
@@captaineggzebra Forces... Hmm... That's a new one.
Also his music is awesome! So him putting jingles in it to help you remember the main parts is a genius idea.
@@OnMyMindEntertainment Seems very genuine and is the most contagious laugh I've heard in the internet. Thanks for the awesome vibes man!
i like how this guy actually watches the video and doesn't pause it every 2 seconds to talk about his life story, great video
😂🤣😂
I try my best to never do that, lol
Absolutely love this video. It's crazy and educational. It's good stuff! Glad you watched it!
Soooooo much information crammed into a 20 minute video, lol!!
What blows my mind is that you can take a single second from any point in that video and it's an entire thing in itself. Whether it's a scientific field, or anthropological, or historical.
One of my favorite comments on the original video: “I feel like I learned everything and nothing at the same time”
That's probably the best reaction I've ever watched of this video. Not a bunch of talking over. No pauses. You got the little nuanced jokes.
That video never gets old. This is how they should teach world history and then let the students zoom into certain things they find interesting
This was so funny!!🤣😂 And accurate- if I had this guy as a teacher in school, I'd have aced history 😂
Would've been easy! Lol
It's kinda accurate
Yes, your reaction was perfect. The laughs, and the stunned "wtf did I just watch" at the end. It took me a few watches to absorb it all.
Lol
I would argue this is one of, if not THE, greatest video on the entire website.
My favorite part of the video? Your initial reaction at the very end. 19 minutes of having all this thrown at you then is suddenly stops and your brain just cannot compute. 19:23, that is just priceless! And it was my reaction too on the first watch.
This is one of my favorite videos on YT. Thank you for reacting to it
This was nuts, LOL! Been meaning to watch this one for a while.
All of Bill Wurtz’s videos are absolute masterpieces. Most of them don’t make any sense, but that doesn’t matter. They are still some of the most entertaining things on the internet
Keep in mind he never” unpaused” it. When he said “wait, pause it.”
You should definitely watch the history of japan next but after that you should definitely watch the oversimplified videos cause they are very good
Actually watched the Japan video first. That was a good one too.
Oh ok just make sure to react to oversimplified
The thing I found most interesting and amusing when I first saw this was how America isn't the only country to get rid of England's influence by dumping a product in the water. America dumped tea, and China dumped opium. 🤣
I wonder how much British stuff is in the ocean…
This was awesome Mike. I’m about as speechless as you right now. I know I’m going to show my kids and I have you to thank for it.
Thanks Mike!!
That's what's up!! 😃🙌🏿
I love how you're so far the only reaction channel that didn't check to see if the video is still running at the beginning.
I'm so glad you saw this video. I've watched it MANY times
I love this video so much that I can recite each words as he speaks during the history of the entire world thanks for reacting to this video, and awesome reactions !!
Great reaction! I have watched this many times. It takes many times but it does a good job of giving our current times an important context.
I think your immediate reaction is the most common and feels most honest to me. That several seconds of knowing it's time to say something now, but what the *rubber ducky* are you supposed to say about THAT?! Where to even begin? I watch all of these I can, because it's such a great video and I love seeing people just speechless lol. Anyway, great video... here's to your corner of the algorithm.
You’re pretty sharp. I’ve watched a lot of reactions to this video and a lot of people can’t keep up. But your were on top of it!
I love this crazy but ultra-informative introduction to the history of the world. I wish they'd make much more entertaining history lessons (or any other school topic for that matter). It would make school so much more enjoyable and interesting, leading to all students actually being interested in learning instead of being half asleep of boredom in the classrooms. This video should be shown the first day in middle school as an overview of what they're going to be learning going forward.
I literally only watch this video for the jingles. My favourites being “TIME TO CONQUER ALL OF INDIAAA- MOST OF INDIAAAAAA” and “The sun is a deadly lazer”
Yeah I was speechless the first time I watched this too. It is amazing! And so unusually presented that it keeps you intruiged the entire time
I usually don't watch this kind of reaction videos, but this time it's just entertaining to see him feel the same as I feel about this video. I'm speechless, heil bill wurtz!
I love your reactions 😂😂
I like how you went straight to reacting to the video instead of doing an intro! And you read your comments man, your a good youtuber
I try! I'm always trying new things to improve these videos.
@@OnMyMindEntertainment :D
I've seen this video so many times and I love it every time!
Yo love this dudes positive energy 😂❤
I like this video, it gets strait to the point, no intro, just react. And he actually reacts, not just sit there.
I will never get tired of watching this video! I've watched it so many times and laugh every time!
I quote 'now the Phoeneeecians can get down to bussinessss' every week lol. Most underrated line.
I could watch History of the Entire World, I Guess a hundred MORE times and still find it entertaining and funny. If they showed stuff like this in school I think learning would be WAY more enjoyable.
Also, I love your reactions... Had me laughing all throughout cause you were laughing.
Bill Wurtz said that it took him 11 months to make this and that it nearly drove him insane.
That awesome and understandable, it's very meticulous so he's probably a perfectionist. But with evolution, history and physics you need to make choices between hypothesises and talk about things you don't fully understand, which sounds like a horrible task emotionally for a perfectionist.
you're so right, the snippets make me want to look into more stuff, like I want to know what happened to the sultan of Oman now
Loved this,so funny!
One of the best videos of YT everybody!
I'm glad you got a chance to relax during that intermission!
LOL!!
It's crazy this video is Still making the rounds🤣 He should do videos in depth by like region or time period
What I love about this video is how it shows how we are all the same as humans regardless of the influences history has separated us.
"By the way, where the hell are we?"
Best ending. Chef's kiss. Lol
I've been watching videos about our galactic address lately, and it hurts my brain.
I really liked you saw this video, this guy is great, the way he goes through history without political views or anything, just X happened, and then Y happenned, no judgement or anything, just the facts we actually know.
One of my Favorite Videos on the Internet
Most iconic vid on YT History😂😂😂
That Video is awsome! I love it. XD
its such an okd video but i will watch it till i die. its an amazing dude and an amazing concept
One of the best videos ever
The fact that so much effort to censor the curse words, yet the video you watched missed "f*** the church" on the map when he says something about the protestant reformation makes it so much funnier that it's there
This guy who created this, rarely post but when he does its a banger
His stuff is always solid.
This is the best video of all time
I always enjoy wqatching reactors with this video.
Best reaction to this I've ever seen.
I’m hype that you watched this
I have watched history of the world i guess over 50 times and i still haven't got bored of it
LOL!!! I feel like I've seen something new each time I watch it.
I think I just found my new favorite channel
Best part of the video: The "we could make a releigion out of this" actually happened during the beheading time.
Quite possibly the ultimate RUclips video.
This video is a right of passage for every react channel.
Forge your own link in the eternal chain.
"The sun is a deadly laser" pops into my head randomly.
🤣😂🤣
I love the japan one to, super cool the way he put it together
After seeing all of it I am the same. I dont know what to say. But it hits the nail on the head.
LOL! It's just so much!!! But it's so good!
This is the video I have watched the most amount of times
Oversimplified makes some similar historical videos that are equally hilarious and educational!
The only reason why this is funny is because of the amount of times this guy laughs at the most random parts.
What a legend
My eyes were closed the whole vid
From all the laughter ☠️
😂😆😂
"How Did This Happen?" -Bill Wurtz 2017
Man’s laugh will never not be extremely contagious
7:25 I think a duck called off sick here.
I read that it took him 11 months to put this video together and I believe it!
Great reaction!
He put in work on this one!
@@OnMyMindEntertainment Check out the one he does on Japan! It's not anywhere near as long, but it's just as much fun!
@@Spazzmatazzz I actually reacted to that one first. It was still a lot of fun and cool seeing some of that in this video. ruclips.net/video/SLrxxw8DoRQ/видео.html
@@OnMyMindEntertainment Excellent! I'll check your reaction out now! New subscriber by the way! Loved your reaction and how you did your video!
He actually earned an award for this video.
4:36 Fun Fact: The English word "Lord" is derived from the Old English "hlāfweard" meaning "Loaf Guard".
🍞💂♂️
Yes! We need oversimplified next!
That awkward long pause at the start of the video tho XD 🤣
I think this makes triple digits I've watched this video, can't wait to make it quadruple 😂
I'm not gonna lie, I got excited thinking it was a reaction to Monty pythons history of the world.
I knew u were going to react to this..also i would like to SEE u react to casual geographic
Edit: i know the SEE part sounds creepy just ignore it
"I don't know what to say" - kinda my response too. Soo much info. Try reacting to the "Oversimplified" history videos if you like history. It's also funny and very educational.
Me and my brother are always saying the sun is a deadly Lazer after watching billwurts video
waiting for ryan george's if work was like a family skit. prepare for tears of laughter!
The Queen of Spain in the Picture at 12:38 looks like my little sister when mom took her phone hahaha
Honestly, I've always wondered how _"Hell yeah, now we got business!"_ never caught on as a meme...
that fucking video is 10x more effective than my history teacher
It's mostly fairly accurate. Touchy things get the right kind of gentle treatment without taking sides.
Thx for watching the vid that literally started my passion for history btw I know so many random facts just from this video starting my obsession 4 years ago I know like over 2 times the stuff in this video now so yeah.
8:11 Thanks to playing Dynasty Warriors as a teenager, then getting into Romance of the Three Kingdoms (games and the novel), I always have a little moment of celebration seeing that flash of Wei, Wu and Shu.
It's LuBu 😮
@@manooxi327 Yeah, he was there! A key player in the collapse of the Han.
The fictional side played up Lubu as a much bigger deal than he actually was historically, but he really was quite the thorn in the side of anyone in the northern provinces until Caocao captured him.
If you're a fan of the 'badass' depiction of Lubu, check out Record of Ragnarok (it's on Netflix), they really dive into the idea of him being a demonic presence in battle.
One thing he neglected was the 1918 flu pandemic, which post Covid seems much more important in retrospect
there was a lot missed, but he got a lot of stuff in there.
Damn.. i learned alot 😭😭
If you like this topic I suggest *Casually Explained: Evolution III - Life as a Video Game.*
Like how you just hop right into it, something more channels need to start doing
I like to just get right to it, lol!
The only person I know that can rival this kind of fast-paced information overload is Maxor.
Classic, this is just laughing for 20 minutes straight
This might not be the best way to learn history but it's funny
