Yes, you just need to use a keyboard app which supports the languages you want to type in.

The only option is to zoom in to the maximum and brush around the edges. If the object is still smaller, there is no other way unfortunately.

I have heard about Snapseed being quite buggy on iOS devices. Unfortunately need to wait for an update from the developer to fix this.
