You are a small RUclipsr right now and I can surely say you will be viral soon because many makes inspirational or informative video on CAT or IIMs but only few have that personality. Well seeing you replying to every comment gives me a chance to interact with you easily coj I know later I’ll be lost in your thousands of comments or maybe not after this😜 Anyways 14 days left for CAT22 wish me luck. Well I have done my MBA from LBSIM and started earning 70k per month after my placement. And my friends did their MBA during the same period( 2019-2021) from different colleges (IIM Roh, Amity, IMT , IBS Hyderabad, GIM, GLIM, FMS Bhu). Reality here is LBSIM, GIM, IIM Roh (New IIM), and IMT we all are earning the around this amount(+ - 5,000) where as my friends from other colleges that I have mentioned are earning 45K ~ 50k per month. One thing that I have noticed is IIM tag will always get you call from the companies. This tag is so strong, that even if you do not have relevant knowledge or worked ex you will still get an interview from the company. That is not the case with rest of us. So that's the difference Teir 1, Tier 2 and Teir 3 colleges.
    P.S: We all were from Commerce field, and freshers

And then I'll do business too.. But if I do an MBA then firstly it will cost a lot of money ( 15-25 lakh + interest = 40 lakhs ) + time ( 1 year preparation of cat + 2 yrs college + at least 1 yr job ) , But i know if I'll give this much amount of time on my RUclips channels & then business then I can definitely earn more than my salary! Yes there's a risk involved too, maybe I'll not earn that much that I'm thinking but greater risk, greater reward... But if I do a RUclips & MBA simultaneously then I probably wouldn't be able to focus on my RUclips channel... You've done both.. What are your thoughts on this? Please reply 🙏🙂

      1- Give this year CAT and other exams- understand your strength and weak areas and then for next year go 100% in.
      2- Next year- give cat and other exams too as well. Which other exams- watch the video today on my channel. mostly XAT, IIFFT ETC.
      3- During this one year- do three things- build your skills via certifications (I will uplpad a video soon), prepare keepign MOCKS as the theme and build you CV. This should be enough.

      you should ask this question - why would someone pay 1.5 lacs to someone making 30K a month. What do u bring to the table? MBA is not about knowledge (u can learn from Coursera, too), but u bring the brand, a sense of exclusivity that only a few people in India can get every year (Branded tier-1 MBA). it is not about required or not required. People don't want things that are available easily or readily. every company wants to hire rare candidates. so, unfortunately, u want a good salary, a nice wife above your grade, and respect from your neighbor/relative then go to the top 10 colleges. That's it.

Think about it. 2nd question is why are you thinking of even tier 2, work hard and give your best to get into the best colleges in the country. Hey Manan! I'm working in corporate finance department and I have total experience of 3 years. My question is that I can't afford studying in a regular college so can I do MBA in "HR" from CU correspondence?
    Will that help me to get higher salary in future in HR?

    • @hey-manan
      @hey-manan  2 года назад +4

      @harsh- I have 2 questions- first why do you want to shift from corporate finance to HR? As far as I know CF has much better growth opportunities than HR. 2nd questions is- if you think to continue in CF- what do you want to do MBA? Why not CFA- the scope is very good if you clear all three levels. And last question is why can’t you afford to studying in regular college? You can get loans easily if you get in good college or also you can think about executive MBA as well. I am of traditional approach distance learning is distance learning and won’t provide you similar opportunities vis a vis with someone from regular MBA. Phew- that was a long reply. Anyways think about all these questions and choose wisely. All the very best.
