  • This DIY Puzzle Table is one of a kind! I designed and built one several years ago as a gift for my husband, and now, I'm showing you exactly how to make your own in this step-by-step tutorial! For less than half of the retail price, you can have a puzzle table that doubles as a puzzle box/ puzzle board/ puzzle case with a carrying handle that allows half-finished puzzles to be stored vertically. If you love this innovative DIY design as much as I do, please share the video with a friend who loves jigsaw puzzles!

      I could see it being a little time-consuming, but if you had large, flat pieces of corrugated cardboard, you could stack them on top of one another and glue them together to form a thicker, but still sturdy, light, and flat surface onto which you could adhere the felt fabric. Good luck!😊

      @@iulianaiolandafrantescu2423 Hi! I know this a year old post, but if you're still looking to put something together, try canvas board. It's found in art supply stores and craft stores. It's sturdy, lightweight, affordable, and would make a good base for the felt.

    Haha to the cat by the door in the final demo shot waiting for her chance to strike at the puzzle, which, unfortunately for her, will never come.
    Yay, I've been waiting for this one. I love that you give alternatives for those of us who don't have specific power tools.

    • @ByBridgetDIY
      @ByBridgetDIY  2 года назад

      I hope it was worth the wait! I forgot to mention that the 1"x2" boards can also be cut in store just like the 3'x4' plywood. So now saws needed:) All we had was a drill when we built our original box, so it's possible!
      And yes, Brioche thinks she's the star of the show and will do anything to sneak into a shot🐈🐾😹

    That's the most awesome puzzle table I've ever seen! Thank you so much for sharing, in such wonderful detail, how to build it. I think I might try to myself in the near future. We have cats too, so I must have a way to keep the puzzle safe, and your idea is simply perfect!

    Hey I know this videos a bit old but I was wondering what size screws you used? Very new to this and trying to build for my partner. Ty!! Awesome build btw

    • @ByBridgetDIY
      @ByBridgetDIY  3 месяца назад +1

      I don't recall the specific screw size I used, but I usually recommend using screws no longer than the width of the board you're screwing into minus about 1/4 inch. That goes for the sections where you're screwing something thin into wood (such as the metal swinging arms into the inside of the box). For screwing the corner boards together at right angles, you could use longer screws, about 1 1/4 inches or so. Hope that helps! I'm sure your partner will love the finished result🥰
