People, those fish come up the stream to hatch and they die after the lay the eggs. Those fish don’t taste any good when they have eggs. There is a hatchery over there and they hatch the eggs and release back to the river.

Hey nice video but be careful, snagging a fish is illegal in Canada, the fishes were hooked on its fin and that is a big NO. Also that area of the park is a private property too, so when the you ticketed, that will be too much money. I know you guys are not aware about the laws but the guy who was there with you said he usually do fishing so pls let him know it’s illegal and never try again especially the video proof is already in your channel 🤦‍♂️

These salmons are the ones coming to the streams to spawn and die. Once they spawn, the body start to decay and it dies. These are absolute garbage fish almost died going to spawn. As such don't eat these fish and it does not taste good. The whole place would be full of dead fish and it stink so much. You can watch these fish going upstream for spawning but don't catch them. Its an interesting fact that the Salmon fish come back to die to the same place were they were born and its a mystery even to the scientific world how they find their birth place after few years living in the lake/sea. If you want to catch fresh Salmon, go and fish in the big lakes like Lake Ontario and and that too before September each year.
