This is a beauty of a machine. The convenience of a mid size long arm but with decorative stitches, top loading bobbin, all metal construction, LOTS of extras. LOVE IT!

Thank you for the great video. I just purchased this machine and will pic it up next week. I was very, very surprised that you pulled the thread out backwards so you could wind the bobbin! That is such a big no no on any machine. I am looking forward to getting my machine. Thanks again.

I thoroughly enjoyed this video! Your tone and demeanor were soothing and welcoming. I wasn't intimidated at all by this advanced machine and now am set on acquiring one myself! Thank you for being so accessible ❤

I just purchased this machine and haven’t even taken it out of the box. But I’m super excited to get going, so glad I’ve got this video and the “smart” scan ability.

Really appreciate this video. Explored all over the internet and RUclips looking for "How to set up a Janome M7 Continental" and come up with "how to insert a bobbin" and other "off-topic" videos.
Maybe even changing the title to, "Taking Janome M7 Continental Professional Machine" OUT OF THE BOX AND HOW TO SET UP.
Actually, you could just duplicate the video with both titles (would save a lot of frustration for us newbies).

Drew embeded in table is good idea to use this space and hide small items ..like covers for bobins when you changing them haha i loosing mine all the time too .... have piece of flies when i put my tiny screws and items what i don't want to loos. I LOVE THE LCD LIGHTS ...ITS SO MUCH EASIER ON EYES AND ARE NOT GETTING YELLOW LIKE TRADITIONAL BULBS .
THIS MASHINE IS DEFINITLY OUT OF MY PRICE RANGE BUT WHO KNOWS MAYBE IN GOOD WINDS ONE DAY I WILL HAVE THIS BEAUTY BEAST.
This mashine is massive ...it wil not even fit my present desk when i do my sewing now hahaha but its absolut prime future if you like quilting or bag making like me .
And i love smart foot pedal ..its reconise speed as well material what you use ....and like this is not smart enouth ...RECONISE HOW MANY LAYERS AND OF WITCH MATERIAL YOU SEW GIVING ENOUTH EASE OR TENTION TO THREAD .
THIS AUTOMATIC THREADERS AND BOBING WINDING TOOLS ARE SO SMART ... SEWING IS TIME CONSUMING AS WELL EXOSTING TASK WHEN YOU MAKE BIG PROJECTS .
I wonder do this mashine asside quilting and heavy clothing like coats and jackets do it will make lights cotton too? Most of sewist have few sewing mashines for different purpose . I always wonder how do you clean them if you cannot open them up and do they come with some kind of cleaning packs or service parks abd how they work. Many quilters say different brands seiwng mashin especialy heavy duty ones cone with some kind maintenance fees but never disclose exactly how it work in them case .
I would also point that after resent Brexit in UK even basic supply for feets and materials become painfull struggle and deliveries are very expensive . HOW MUCH MORE I WOULD NEED TO PAY FOR ITEM IF I WANT ORDER FROM OUT OF MAINLAND UK to have better deal. Most shops don't even carry basic sewing mashine anymore ...so sad ... searching for i formations even with internet is pointless is shops closing or have nothing in stock ..aside pictures on web pages ....tragedy ..but on them own reqiest.
THANK YOU TO PUT THIS PRETTY BEAST VIDEO . VERY GOOD CAMERA OPERATOR YOU HAVE .

No, not a stitch regulator. It is a feed regulator, similar to a walking foot

I think my vintage singers sound great on video. My M7 sounds better the more I use it, as if the lube is spreading with heat of use.
