- This is a quick fix of me repairing my PC cases headphone jack socket without ordering any spare parts.
Tools you are going to need to do the same are;
1. Saughtering iron
2. Saughter
3. Flux
4. Fume extractor because you don't want to smell fumes from the flux and saughter, that's not healthy
Things you might need (extra)
4. Isopropyl alcohol to clean the flux afterwards
5. Tooth brush
6. Wick
7. Pliars
8. Gloves
Man every one i asked said no to me . But i just couldn't accept the fact that you can't fix a freaking headphone jack ? Finally found someone who really did it .
Cool
Exactly. It’s like two wires. If you can get the part and you have access to a soldering iron then you’re home free. People don’t act like they actually own the things they own anymore
The fact the the headphone jack can fail so easily in the first place is surprising to me lol
Brilliant idea with the quick & dirty exhaust fan!
I broke mine when I stood up from my chair and it yanked the audio cord from the jack and broke the solders I switched the mic and headphone jacks think you do much
Glad it helped
Zach Wood Same
Dude same thing with me except I stood up while wearing my earphones and it yanked out by force and stopped working....
bro literally me too lmfao
Not one, but just several tugs, and now it's dodgy connection - someone should invent a connection that's not prone to this!!
bruh i was gonna watch this vid with subtitles but then i started the video and my audio worked again😂😂
"A magical fix" lol
Well played, Sir.
I think, It is better to just interchange the cables at the motherboard port.
Damn that's a good idea lol
thanks for the subtitles i couldnt hear anything for some reason.
Lol
I didn't think that you would get stereo output from a microphone jack, I assumed that they would be built just like the old mono speaker jack that older radios etc use? Are you getting sound to both ears??
Yes I am and the mic jack and the speaker jack were identical in my case with same inner design and same connectors. And It's in stereo yeah
@@castiel7330 I've just discovered that there's no need to do any swapping of these jacks if you have Realtek HD Audio Manager software, just plug in headphones to the mic jack and tick the headphone box option on the pop up box.
@@steveclark.. In my case I got the asus xonar dg 5.1 souncard and I couldn't find any software solution to do what you did. Some soundcards doesnt support that I assume? Both solutions work :)
@@steveclark.. Thanks. Your comment saved me a bunch of time/money.
nice bro keep the good work up
Better than my shitty webcams. You need a pump for sucking solder. It makes lige easier
teşekkür ederim ayni sorundan muzdariptim.sayende bir fikir sahibi oldum cozume dair ellerine saglik👍
kardeş bu nedir uyumadinmi😀
@@averenerdem ne konuda anlamadım :D
Well to repair shop it goes
Ok... Well I can't do that, so I guess I'll just have no sound forever
You could buy a USB to 3.5mm audio adapter or buy a audio cord extender and plug your headphones into the audio port in the back of your pc
@@dave5194 Thanks
@@dave5194 lol....this didn't pop up in my head...
i bought Bluetooth adapter & headphone & since, im on win 7, adapter don't run properly either.
thanks to you, im gonna return that & USB to 3.5mm audio adapter
@@dave5194 I can not believe I could have just plugged my wire into the port at the back of my pc.....so much time wasted
I don’t have the power thingy that burns the metal becuase I hit my knee on my head phone jack park and bent the jack but it still worked so I didn’t bother but now it doesn’t work so now I am stuck
I suppose you can borrow a saughtering pen from someone if you are willing to try this :) and it's very cheap you know, it's found in any electronics store
Aynı sorun bendede vardı çözdüm çok sağol :D
Someone needs to invent a Bluetooth audio + mic Jack so people don’t need to go through this!
Bro my mic jack isn't working....I am using my headset as a mic...My pc shows that mic is connected but when I try to record something...it doesn't record anything....there is just beep sound recorded whenever I try to remove or connect the headset...All the drivers are up to date... Where is the problem bro plzz help

COK GUZEL, TESEKKURLER
