After getting this time, I didn't try to get anything better and moved on to the next Glitch episode. I absolutely love your speed runs, especially how you explain everything you're doing rather than powering through it without saying a word. Also, there's a lot of diversity between different games rather than all the game's in one series. Keep up the good work :)
+Games and Luigifan Link is at least a teenager in this game, though. Best guess is about 17, though I think that's based on Zelda being 16 in Link to the Past and guessing that Link couldn't be much younger. I always took it as a sign that death isn't permanent in this game. You still have the item you stole, and you're still branded THIEF. So you're not going back in time before you were killed.
Two small notes that you didn't mention: The first two balls that Agahnim will fire will always be balls that can be reflected back to him. After that, it's all 50/50 RNG. Stealing from the shop makes every instance where an NPC would call you by your filename call you "THIEF" instead. :)
Nice run and commentary! Though this route is now obsolete, I do miss actually defeating Nightmare. The new route uses an Arbitrary Code Execution glitch to warp to the credits in roughly 2 mins 17 sec. Though unfortunately it is VERY inconsistent and a purely luck based run.

I just wanted to say that this video has helped me start speed running this game for me this video helped in the way that I can easily see the directions you went in the glitched state.and In your other glitches video on this game I have found that if you get 10 rupees and go to the trendy game it is easier to get the magic powder. even though the way you shown may be faster
komori OoT is good, but, BotW is much better. However, trying to view them both as Legend of Zelda games is incorrect, because BotW is to the Legend of Zelda series as The Pokèmon mystery dungeon games are to the Pokémon series. They are part of the series, but, provide a different experience then what you are used to, but an experience that is similar to the actual series. BotW is l, in my view, a half spin-off of the Legend of Zelda series, sharing the world, settings, characters and environment as the rest of the games, but provides a different experience with those elements.

How in the world can you save over a minute to this? I mean perfect luck at the final boss is a thing I guess you could save there about 20-30 seconds but where can you save the other 40 seconds?
+A+Start Ok I was looking it up just now, the quickest thing I found for this game was the TAS, which is 05:37.87. It used the same Strats you used so I do not see how this could be done in 4 minutes and 41 seconds as you said unless that person used any newer or different strategies. Maybe you meant 5 minutes and 41 seconds (that sounds more plausible to me). If that is the case I think 12 seconds off world record is more than acceptable.
+AlexAgent00 Andy doesn't run this game completely optimally. one of the biggest skips that andy misses in this is called dethyl skip. by getting the ocarina in the run, you can play the ocarina on a precise frame when the bats are flying by using pause buffering. this skips the fight with dethyl at the end. also, people who speedrun this game play it in japanese, which saves a decent amount of time with text. the world record holder right now (i think?) is greentunic. check him out sometime on twitch.
As I said I have not found the World record all I found was the TAS and that was about the 20 seconds faster I was talking about I do not know about the other strat so I do not know if it is faster. Also I am well aware that he doesnt run the game professionally.

How about a speedrun of Oracle of Ages? as it's the only Zelda game I ever played. Because the Zelda series is something I've been wanting to get into for some time.

This Any% category either using the Bow or Ocarina to finish the game is the best. Arbitrary Code Execution just isn't fun :P Good run though and very informative :)
I found a weird thing in the DX version to trigger it name a file AAAAAAA then save reset the game after that copy the file 2 times then reset then you go to a glitchy dungeon when you boot up your file
I tried to explore the bug dungeon and there was a boss and a musical instrument. When I took it, my game crashed and now some parts o the game are bugged. I tried to erase the file and when I started the game again, there were the same bugs; (

You can also kill 2 Cuccos or foxes, however the octoroks WAG faster as you don’t need magic powder for them.
