    Congratulations gentlemen, a feat completed and well done for sure. I know the pain endured will only be a memory one day but for now it's a testament to your determination, grit, fortitude and tenacity to carry on to the end. A lot of people will say; "I wish I could do that" or "I'll do that some day maybe" but you two guys can say "Been there, done that" with a smile on your face. It's been a great time for you, ups and downs and all that goes with an epic adventure. Warren has been an inspiration and outstanding mate with a smile the entire time. Great video, well done, thanks for the trip. See ya soon.

    This has been a brilliant series Dan. I’ve really enjoyed watching you and Warren doing the SDW and not just because I’ve done it either. Really like the honest highs and lows. You kept it real and captured everything very well. I don’t know about you but although I loved the Seven Sisters views, it felt a lot longer than 8 miles and seemed to go on forever! You’ve also proved that us middle-aged blokes have 100% got it in is to tackle the big adventures. I think it’s also mental strength. Pushing on and through. Really great you had Warren by your side and I’m sure you were equally supportive of him in the low moments. The big question is: are you going to miss Warren’s regular facts every mile?? CONGRATS GENTS!!! - Ben

Two things to take from this vlog ( amongst others) glad we don't have smellatube and you've eaten too much trail mix to fit through that gate .. and chips and and and. What a fantastic adventure this turned into for you both and despite sore feet etc you still doubled up walking on filming the best scenes I think you've ever done. Congratulations guys well earned pint .. now what's next for next week .. lol. Bushyboy Oz.

    Not something id noticed before on the map, was the mile markers you had written in. How did you accurately mark those? Did you use some sort of gadget?

    • @CampLifeBushcraft
      @CampLifeBushcraft  Месяц назад +2

      We had mile points. known (but not all), and water points. and overnight spots marked on the map. As well as a spreadsheet with the miles listed and potential food stops marked.
      Most of this was Warren's doing.
      The A to Z map contained the ordinance survey route and it had little dots for each mile.
      But we made them clearer.
