There are boat loads of Crypto Mining Pools out there, how do we know which Bitcoin CryptoCurrecny Mining Pool is the BEST! What determines the Best? Is the Biggest Payouts? Is it the Lowest Fees? Is it Payouts that Occur More Often!? Let's take a look at Three Bitcoin Mining Pools and put them to the test on my Bitmain Antminer S19J Pro 100Th/s ASIC Miners to find out!

      I've been on Nicehash since Nov 2022. My payouts have been higher on avg to any other pool I have tried. S19 Pro(100TH). I think the "Easy Mining" program increased payouts to miners.
      I'd love to see a firmware comparison between the stock bitmain and third party options(ePIC control boards, Luxor OS, Brains, etc)

      I recently got my first asic. I’m not a fan of NiceHash based on their past hacks and such, but it gets me more sats right now so I’m using it.
      I was on Luxor for a week and then switched to NiceHash, NiceHash was better for me too.

    A better experimental design to control for silicon lottery and ASIC variability would be to have each ASIC for 7 days on a pool and then switch each miner to a different pool and mine for another 7 days and do the same a third time to have each ASIC mining for 7 days on each one of the pools. Thereafter, you can calculate the mean BTC mined per pool and per ASIC too. This way you control for intra-ASIC variability as well as inter-ASIC differences. The other factor is hashrate per ASIC. Even though all of them are rated at 100TH, my experience with several ASICs with the same hashrate rating is that there is variability and one assumption in your experiment is that ALL ASICs will be mining at the same hashrate. Good experiment to start with. Always like your content. Keep it coming.

    The BTC hashrate on June 11 hit 504 EH/s, while on May 9 it was 358 EH/s. Although it does fluctuate daily, the hashrate has increased more than 100% over the last 12 months.
    It would be a good idea to do a 30 day test to show the % decrease in BTC mined over one month as the hashrate and difficulty continue to climb. Along with BTC price, this is a very useful metric to factor into long term calculations of long term profitability, but nobody talks about it 🤔

    • @amplifiergamingBTC
      @amplifiergamingBTC Год назад +1

      Well since he was mining with all the miners at the same time the network hashrate has nothing to do with the test saying that all 3 of the miners are experiencing the same amount of network hashrate at the same time

      @sonnikuba Год назад

      @@amplifiergamingBTC I agree with you 💯 and I’m not disputing his results. I’m saying that another topic that would be interesting to note is the average monthly decrease in BTC yield that you would likely see across all 3 pools.

    You should probably mention payout method and luck just a bit. 7 days isn't enough to account for luck, and it gets worse so if you are on a pplns pool for example. But other hand for now at least I prefer to be on a pplns pool (Braiins but ymmv) because there is legit risk concerns with for example fpps. Also I'd think about rotating machines through the pools because no two machines will hash identically. iow, this is a pretty damn complex assessment! In the end I almost just pick based on secondary things like how they pay out (nicehash pays in lightning which is cool if you run a node for example) or what the payout minimums and/or fees are. Another feature is split payments, I started using slush/braiins for that and luxor does it too.

    FRM holders will have the power to actively participate in decision-making processes within the Ferrum ecosystem and shape the future direction of the project. The expanded role of FRM as a governance token marks a significant milestone for Ferrum, enhancing transparency, decentralization, and community involvement.

    To me it seems like SHA-256 (Bitcoin and others) mining is competed so hard, that only the people with super cheap electricity can join that without losing money. Some 0.02$/kWh would be great for any mining though, but usual rates like 10 cents or more are just not going to help.
