    This was a really good How to Play. Love the use of annotations and the subtle humor makes it run smoothly. The audio channels need some balancing though - half the video was in my left ear and the rest in my right. Thanks for putting it together!!

      Thanks, and I’m not sure why that happened I appreciate you letting me know I’ll be sure to make sure it doesn’t happen again!

    Wow, I better understood this explanation than the half-hour one from Game in a Nutshell, supposedly more thorough, I guess. Impressive, thanks!

      @@fatherofgames9239 not sure I did! But I definitely made strategic errors. Those big city tiles really don't seem worth it - holding on to opuses (had to Google that...) for end game points isn't nearly as valuable (it seems) over selling them for points and income during the game... So I stepped over 18+ victory points to score 7... 🤦‍♂️

      @@TabletopToolbox this one definitely takes a few games to have a good strategy down for sure, and yea I agree some of the big city tiles are way better than others for sure sometimes it is better to just sell some opuses especially because they’re so expensive. Hope you enjoy it more your next game.

    I have a question regarding the third free action you explained. Do I have to put a card on the bottom row too? If I don’t want to carry the action and receive money instead should I still play 2 cards?

    • @fatherofgames9239
      @fatherofgames9239  Год назад

      Yes you always play two cards and will still receive the rewards from the bottom card at the end of the round, you’re just forfeiting all actions/bonuses from the top card to receive money instead

  • @kornelije.h
    @kornelije.h Год назад

    14:35 small correction. Take the reward for each icon on the cards, not for each action. Number of performed actions during the turn in not necessarily equal.

      I see how my explanation could be misleading lol that’s how I had it in my head and it didn’t come across that way at all but for sure it’s the number of times you’ve played a card with that symbol not how many times you’ve actually completed the action.

    @14.01 Should the Journey marker be 3 and not 4 ?

    • @fatherofgames9239
      @fatherofgames9239  Год назад +1

      No the first card has 2 journey points and the other two add another one each
