Respect bro. For having both the realization of how good a song it is, “ country-fy ing” it and having the nerve and security to sing and share. Well done my man.
Dude I love this. Yes! Yes! YYYYYES!!!! Omg for me this was/is amazing. I recently started liking this song but not by its original artist 😬 The only sad thing about this is that it’s only a part of the song. This sounds SO GOOD for what it is! And it brings in people who would NEVER listen to pop/pop-like songs. I would buy this version from you off of iTunes or where ever else it was available 😁 and even if You don’t do a version of the whole song at least we have this little bit of treasure to listen too 🎶 🎵 🎼 🎸 🥁
This is really great mate! Deserve more subscribers, for a teenybopper song of the era, it's actually one of the better, and more sophisticated numbers of it's day/genre. Nice hook, medley, and chorus. Done in a country way it shed's new light on a classic.
Don't know who you are bud. I'm a huge fan of this song. Only a mild fan of country music. I disagree that all music is better as country, but WOW!!!!!! You nailed this so good and I thank you so much. This is an inspiration!!!
I found this after searching for a guitar acoustic version of the song because it got stuck in my head and I too realized it’s a quality song and has no reason to be the sugar pop shit I remember from 6th grade dances! Thank you for being on the same wavelength and have the ability to play it on a guitar!
Yes James. I actually play in Double Drop D. (both E strings tuned to D. It's how I taught myself as a kid and never looked back. I can play in standard but I really have to think about it. Double Drop D is my primary language so to speak). Thanks for the nod! Appreciate it!
@@emjayscafe that's great! I learned a little bit about DADGAD turning from Phil Keaggy and I love the sound that you don't get from the standard tuning.
amazing country-folk-grunge-hardrock version!!! Debbie's voice is amazing
Freakin' brilliant cover. It's amazing that Debbie Gibson wrotevthis song as a teenager.
OMG! Fantastic Cover!! Love the raspiness in your voice!
