I see what you’re saying by calling it a cash grab. Trainer, Charizard, Squirtle, and Ivysaur each have the exact same functionality. But they’re not necessary for purchase and if people like them I feel it’s a fair purchase. No one considered the alternate costume amiibo cash grabs btw

It's completely unnecessary to get all 4, making it harmless that they released them.
The average amiibo buyer gets 4 options for the same fighter, and collectors get every individual character in amiibo form.
