Hey guys, great reaction, thank you so much. Google tells me there have been 81 official covers of Jolene ( not to rain on your rumor) but this one is very very close to the original. Beautifully done by Emily and I love the backing vocals she has been adding to her tracks lately. It just gives another level of professionalism to her pieces. I have commented to her she should come up with a name for those wonderful singers : ).This is off to a great start for her, 475k views in 5 days . Dolly is one of Emily's favorite singers and what a thrill it would be for her to know Dolly has seen this cover. In the past she has had compliments from Amanda Mcbroom ( The Rose) and John Fogerty for her cover of Have You Ever Seen The Rain. Later he put part of her cover on his own Tiktok channel. Hi Psi and Bella it’s Mick in the UK. Thank you for reacting to Emily's cover of Jolene, and thank you Clint for promoting it. Sixteen year old Emily does a fabulous cover of this song. Emily sings Jolene live, on camera, as you see it. She then does her own backing vocals and harmonies, with her guitar tutor. Simon Tomkins adding further guitar work. The recording is then taken to Sound Struck Studios for percussion and sound mixing before the master recording is returned for uploading on to Emily's RUclips channel. Emily does all the music arrangements herself. Although Emily is not a Country singer, as such, she certainly knows how to get that "country" feel, as she already has done on Country Roads, Crazy, and When You Say Nothing At All. Hello Psi & Bella. Hope you're both well. Great review of a wonderful & extremely talented young lady. Jolene has been covered here to the 'enth' degree by Emily who illustrates an innate understanding of every musical genre. She does well covering country songs & hopefully this will be no exception. I notice that @patsmith8035 has provided Emily's correct age of 16 but just imagine how good she'll be at the age you thought she was. Thanks to Psi & Bella for playing & Clint for requesting.
