This video is a great step by step. I watched completely, then watched it step by step. This video shows how to do it properly. With a water filtration system, garbage disposal and dishwasher, be ready for a tight fit. I had to do 95%of this with one hand.
I would evaluate my skill level as a below average do-it-yourselfer. This took me about 2.5 hours. I'll take ibuprofen tonight.

This video was very helpful, thank you! I just installed my Delta Essa kitchen faucet w/ touch feature, and this video walked me through everything without any hangups or confusion.

This video right here, folks. This is all you need. Throw the installation manual away because it's useless. Watch this video. Twice. Then, GO.

4:19 i found it's a good idea BEFORE you install it to take the plastic mounting bracket and slide it onto the mounting threads of the faucet several times to burnish plastic nylon opening and ensure that it slides freely. On mine there was a bit of flashing in the molding process that made it too tight to slide just by pushing it up while upside down in an awkward position. Using the threads to ream it out a bit will help let it slide up without any hanging up.
Also, securing the center nut should only be done fairly loosely until you can verify up top that the Delta indicator logo is centered to the front and mounting isolator is properly seated and not canted at an angle. The two Phillips screws are to be used for the final tightening once it's been determined to be properly mounted as shown.
10:45 I found the outlet hose on mine to be too short to reach down into a bucket, that's the part that connects to the electronic valve. Luckily I had a plastic tube of the right diameter to fit over the outlet hose and used that to direct it into the bucket instead of having it spray from two feet away.
12:10 the hose counterweight is not symmetrical, there's a smooth rounded side and a side with molding lips on it, for smoothest operation, the rounded side should be towards the faucet, as that's the side that is in contact as it slides on the hose.

My wife wanted to hire a plumber for the install. I watched this video and told her it looked like a piece of cake. That it was! Great DIY video! Thanks, Delta!

You didn’t say how to hook up the command part. I have one that for 2 years I can get to work.

Except everyone already have existing shutoffs with multiple items already connected(dish washer/filter system) should stay with a 1/2” standard male connector! Frustrating waste of time!
