    Great video for sure. Thank you. I wished I'd noticed the extra black tool that came in the box sooner...the one that helps you tighten the main nut with all the hoses. Very handy!

    Thank you, thank you, thank you! The video was just perfect! The instruction booklet, not so much. I bought an adapter for the faucet, so that is all hooked up and the batteries will be for backup only. The hardest part of the whole thing was taking the old faucet out!

    Watched your vidio 2 times, didn't bother to read the instructions, your vidio was great, hardest time was getting the old faucet removed, this faucet kicks ass, very nice, the wife and I love it

    I really wish I had your sink area under the cabinet. First make it a double sink and all the drain pipe that goes with it, then add a garbage disposal and you have a real fun body contorting afternoon ahead of you.

    Fantastic video! After removing my old faucet first, which proved to be an absolute headache, following along with this video made the install a dream!

    I noticed this video did not include the plastic sleeve (ferrul) when connecting to supply lines? Possibly different model?

    Thank you! Nice video and far better than Delta's HORRIBLE installation manual. Too bad you didn't include the escutcheon (deck mount) in your video. Also, the trick about turning the faucet so a 1-person installation would work - didn't. 2-day job as my friend will help with the install tomorrow. And you can't just push the mounting bracket up to the top of the threaded shank. The shank has flat sides to it, so you must position it just right (I actually removed my faucet and tested it free-hand to see if it would fit). I'm sure there are more nightmare steps I will encounter. It's sad that Delta can put out such awful installation instructions and get away with it. They need to be held liable for incorrect installations if their steps were followed.
    I also don't have a studio sink. One with no garbage disposal. No dishwasher lines. Sometimes no drain lines. Just a single basin sink.
    Got it successfully installed with the help of a friend. I was surprised that the supply lines from the faucet were not braided and were VERY stiff. This was the most difficult task - attaching the supply lines to the valves. I wish they used a quick connect. But this video was invaluable. Thank you!!!

      I sat at my kitchen table and watched videos like this for a few hours trying to find the "just right" way to slide the mounting bracket up to the underside of our counters. It just would not move beyond an inch or so. I had to use my pocket knife to scrape away a plastic line inside the mount (from manufacturing). After I got the inside smooth the mounting bracket slid right up. I've had to do similar things for cheaply manufactured, assembly-required things where the insides of holes get paint in them and won't allow you to screw in screws/bolts. Frustrating indeed.
      Anyways, thanks for this comment. I thought I was losing my mind.

    I wonder why the faucet didn't turn off when she touched the neck to turn the nozzle from side to side? Also, I wonder why they didn't just make it a 9v battery? (6 AA's @ 1.5v = 9 volts)

    • @mrBDeye
      @mrBDeye 4 месяца назад

      Because 6 AA’s or 6 C’s supply more amperage (current) than one single 9 volt battery. 9 volt battery is for low current consumption devices like a transistor radio or smoke alarm.

    My plumber did not use the check valves. And... The handle does not adjust temperature - When I push it right, the temperature gradually goes hot. UP, it turns facet off. But there is no way to go back to cold; if I push faucet back to left it just turns off as well. Can you troubleshoot this for me? Is the lack of temperature adjustment related to the check valves? Thank you!

    Outstanding video. Curios why you didn't use plumber's tape on the metal; connections?

    • @burtpanzer
      @burtpanzer Год назад +1

      Nylon tape is not needed with compression fittings, just on basic threaded pipes like water and iron pipe used for gas supply.

      They have an AC adapter for this. I haven't looked into it.

      Yes, rechargeable batteries will work, they're just slightly lower in voltage per cell.

    I wonder if you are a husband and wife . You look good together. You almost look like you are a siblings.
    Now, I’m my culture when couples get married and kinda look alike they say that’s the best match.

    I really think the girl should have been wearing a bikini just in case there were any water splashes. looks like there is a lot more things that can go wrong when you put electronics surrounded by water pipes under a sink with a sprayer hose attached to it getting yanked up and down all the time. And the cost of buying all those batteries twice a month seems rather ridiculous because you still have to touch the faucet why not just touch the handle like the rest of us poor people who can’t afford the extra $200?🚰👯‍♀️🤪
