Watching several Dr. Sandison's RUclips interviews, reading her book and other leading researchers' books (Dr. Gabrielle Lyon, Casey Means, Wendy Suzuki), I strongly believe that physical exercise (stressing skeletal muscles) is the most important aspect of our cognitive health and all other health. However, the physical exercises need to bring one's heart rate up and stimulate muscle synthesis. So many assisted living facilities let residents sit on a chair too long. When they are not on a chair, they are sleeping on a bed. There is no opportunity to use/stress/rebuild skeletal muscles. Those residents need to sit on floor and get off floor throughout day to rebuild usable skeletal muscles.

All the physical exercise in the world wont' help if one's diet is killing them.
