I didn’t realize how much cussing in rap (and other genres) devalues the creativity of a song until I discovered NF. I’m not against cussing necessarily but too often they’re used as filler words instead of a way to emphasize a bar or a message. NF proves there’s more power in subtle poetry than aggressive grandiosity.
NF and Hopsin are two of my favorite rappers right now, Hopsin has been for a long time. Webby is another one. Would love to see some of his songs feature here I bet you’d be into it. One of the most underrated overlooked in the game.

NF fans have been screaming and shouting for a collab between Hopsin and NF for years now and then one day NF posted a photo on Instagram that showed him and a man with a darkened face (to hide the identity but tease the feature) and it very clearly looked like Hopsin so everyone went absolutely ballistic. Hopsin even said in an interview that they wrote the song and filmed the video over a year before it was released so Hopsin had to keep this project on the down low for that long. And it also shows how much respect Hopsin and Tech N9ne have for NF that both of them were willing to do a feature without cussing once. Really shows how far NF has come along

I really only started watching your videos after your breakdown of NF vids. I literally never watch youtube, or really anything like it, but i love your videos of his songs for their in depth breakdowns, and emotional connection that it seems to have. It seems we have the same thoughts most of the times, although i agree with you on how NFs verse was an aftermath of Hopsins angry verse, i cant say i agree with you saying they should have been reversed in order. I think it was much more impactful the way they had it. One explaining the situation, the other explaining the background. It is very much the same technique a lot of writers have of writing the actions of the characters and then periodically/in the aftermath speaking of why they did what they did. Either way though, your insights were wonderful, and i love seeing your reactions.
I learned something recently is people that are fearful of a lot things, but still act on them, are brave, and what people want to see, people that are fearless don’t necessarily need to be brave or special, they just act, and so they don’t have to put as much intention into whatever the action may be, so if you’re ever hesitant on doing something it could just mean you’re the perfect person to do it, because that’ll mean you’re going against the grain and helping other people with that

Yo! I’m 45 and I came to the conclusion that I needed to get control of my thoughts around 22. It took time but I was able to quiet my mind. It really opened up my life. Once my mind was quiet I could listen to my heart. Once I listened and healed my heart I could hear my spirit talking. You can do it.

NEGATIVITY, in my life came from unforgiveness towards others, my self and my past mistakes, once I was able to acknowledge my responsibility and embrace what had happened and what I had done I found myself seeing life through a different lens.
I really only started watching your videos after your breakdown of NF vids. I literally never watch youtube, or really anything like it, but i love your videos of his songs for their in depth breakdowns, and emotional connection that it seems to have. It seems we have the same thoughts most of the times, although i agree with you on how NFs verse was an aftermath of Hopsins angry verse, i cant say i agree with you saying they should have been reversed in order. I think it was much more impactful the way they had it. One explaining the situation, the other explaining the background. It is very much the same technique a lot of writers have of writing the actions of the characters and then periodically/in the aftermath speaking of why they did what they did. Either way though, your insights were wonderful, and i love seeing your reactions.
I learned something recently is people that are fearful of a lot things, but still act on them, are brave, and what people want to see, people that are fearless don’t necessarily need to be brave or special, they just act, and so they don’t have to put as much intention into whatever the action may be, so if you’re ever hesitant on doing something it could just mean you’re the perfect person to do it, because that’ll mean you’re going against the grain and helping other people with that

I love NF, one of the best ever, but Hopsin is such a beast on this song. Like he always is, really. Ill Mind 5 and 7 really expanded my worlds. Two of the best ever in a song together. So amazing.
