Samsung Ice Maker Dispenser Lever Replacement

This video is how to replace the dispenser lever on a Samsung ice maker. I had an issue where only water came out if I hit the water or the ice lever. This shows what was wrong and how I replaced it. Parts for this are difficult to find so I had to buy a different part and use the lever's from that part to fix mine.

Total, with shipping and tax was around $100 but it beats paying for service or replacing the refrigerator.

Question: my water/cubes ice panel will not switch over when I touch it. It is stuck in the cubed I’ve…?? Any suggestions?

That’s a different part. I would see what the part number is for that touch switch to see if it can be replaced.
