  • I did look around especially for chip load. And I found this channel Cuttin It Close. He had a really nice excel sheet that he used in his workshop. Unfortunately it was in inches so I added also millimeter to it, and made som more calculations. Download link below

I know I'm a bit late, this is amazing!
Sorry for all the following questions but how hard is it to add additional bits to this sheet?
Do you have a solution for V bits and Ball mills?
If so id love to see it!

Hi Cap. The sheet is made as a basic guideline. When you are running your job you just decrease or increase spindelspeed, feed/ min and so on. Thank you for watching

The decimal point is wrong in the chipload table for mm. Please remove a zero after the decimal point.

Really good video, please check the mm section on the Excel file, on 3mm tool diameter 0.008 (hard wood) I think it should be 0.08, you have a extra 0 in all of them, can you please check if i'm right or wrong?. Thanks in advance.

Hi Thanks for watching and your comment. It is correct remember this is only 1mm tool and cutting in hardwood. But you can try to tweak with the tool you have
