The line in episode 7 is kinda relevant "Viltrumites don't kill for pleasure, even if they do sometimes take pleasure in killing" - Nolan, doesn't feel pleasure when killing, not anymore. If he can avoid it, we would prefer not to kill. Which is what the OP is pointing out

I think he did kill him, he had his fingers sinking through his neck and his eyes were wide open even as he dropped him.
For some reason, the dedication of the guards makes me laugh. It's as if they forgot that this is actually whole viltrumite.

@@somdudewillson They were no threat to him. If you are a soldier and your boss orders his slaves to attack you (just as an excercise), but their weapons can't damage you. You are more than capable to non-lethally neutralise them, but choose to kill them mercilessly, that's not the same as a human soldier killing an enemy mid-battle.

It's both kind of admirable and downright cruel that the Viltrumites do this. On the one hand, you get to go out knowing you gave it your absolute all, and that's something to be proud of...on the other hand, you die with the knowledge that you gave it your absolute all, and it wasn't nearly enough.
( at least, in non-Nolan/Allen cases :P )

Season should've been longer, I think the cut for Season 3 should've been one more episode showing Nolan's escape and teasing S3 to be the start of the viltrumite war.

Can someone answer what makes this is a prison that can hold Viltrimites? Is Omniman still not strong enough to break out or are those walls made of something too durable for him?
It's not the actual prison, but the fact there are multiple Viltrumites on the ship. Nolan is strong enough to kill every single Viltrumite there, including Kregg, on a fair one-on-one, but they overwhelm him with numbers.

Nolan didn't fight Kregg, at this point he is resigned and accepted his fate, he kind of wants to die for a while now. Besides I doubt Kregg is the only viltrumite stationed there. A 1v3 was a tough matchup admitted by him, Kregg (who should be near or above his level ) + a few more viltrumites is not a fight he should win.
