"welcome back to the first tutorial".... what a legend
There is a French audio series that begin with "Summary of previous episodes" at the first episode with someone who explain that it' s the first episode to the narrator
@@odindimartino597 It is called les aventuriers du survivaure
@@-Tichan- Je sait
Can't wait for the second first tutorial
Thank you, I didn't catch this on the first go through.

That's why it's called Creative Cloud
Please send the digital wrench to me in the mail anytime, thank you!
Sure thing!
I swear to god, Uri, if you don't send him a wooden wrench composed of 128 little cm square cubes, I'm going to do absolutely nothing about it, because you should never negotiate with terrorists and I really want to see this happen.
Awesome artwork, as usual :)
This is like a shitpost but with a huge production value.
Best description!
Next lesson, “3D printing in Excel”
nah, Uri will 4D print an excel pigeon
Which leads to an episode of escalating frustration, as Excel does its thing of attempting to format every number entered as a date, which unfortunately, leads to every girl in the neighbourhood around Uri also getting very frustrated.
developing a nuclear warhead within notepad
3d printing in excel does in fact exist. (or rather using excel as a slicer)
Is no one going to mention the quality of the pixel art? It's very, very impressive! Reminds me of a lot of great PC titles from the mid 90's
this has to be 3D models with pixelized post process. just look the shadows move in 3D, vise and spoon itself got nice fillet on the edges, and the specular reflection is too good to be true, especially when the varnish is applied. even at 6:00 you can see the wood parts fall and rotate in 3D as they hit the ground. there are countless tutorials on how to achieve pixelated effect in unity/blender/maya/unreal engine, or whatever people use for their projects.
When Uri went in for the close-up, I was mesmerized by the smooth contours and three dimensional quality of the image. By the time he reached full resolution, I literally thought the spoon was a real wooden spoon that had magically appeared out of thin air. Alas, when he backed away from the screen, I could then see the edges of the monitor and had to admit that the image was actually a digital representation of a wooden spoon and not real. I expected a perfectly formed wooden spoon to fall from the bottom of the monitor at any moment.
@@genkidama7385 Are you trolling? That is clearly 2d pixel art.
@@genkidama7385 you... do realize that all of these things you described can be done with 2d animation, right? it takes skill, but it's not impossible.
@@genkidama7385 2d pixel artists reach this quality constantly.... you knoe we had had incredibly high quality pixel art even before 3d was in use right?
The people who disliked this are only angry because they burnt themselves trying to use photoshop to eat soup. Duh. Idiots. You have to use illustrator for that.

Damn, thanks
I always try to imagine that downvotes on good videos are mostly someone who can’t see well or those people whose cultures use a thumbs down for good and thumbs up for bad. Of course that theory kind of causes an additional quandary as to whether those upvotes weren’t meant to mean the opposite!
aVe sent me here... he was correct. This is gold.
Also love the Jimmy D ice pick cameo
I don't get it. Is Jimmy D a mobster? Those are the only guys I know who actually have ice picks.
Thanks aVe.. 😅
Just when I thought I was getting used to Uri's eccentricity, he throws this absolute curveball.
Never change Uri, never change
Amen. I just love this guy. Isn't he the best. His sense of humour, and creativity. Plus he's a fantastic craftsman. I'm glad I found his channel
Except and only when unnecessarily not needed change to improve and modify to make useful.
He's gone full monty python finally
There has never been a better description. Ever.
George: tis but a scratch!
Exactly what I was thinking. Pretty Epic.
@@samiam7 A scratch?

Whenever I start thinking I'm wasting my time watching youtube, Uri comes along and shows me I'm not
There was a Monty Python computer game, called "Complete Waste of Time".
Same here.
Brilliant.
this is one of the best things i've ever seen on youtube
Uuu Nicule, nu ma gandeam sa dau de tine aici :))
Te sap Frate!! ಥ_ಥ
That was way too well made! This is the kind of nonsense tutorial I can get behind!
As an ex pro retoucher and an avid wood worker, I can confirm this is a very accurate tutorial. Also the best thing I’ve seen in years.
That mineral oil finish has really made the grain pop.
Grain? Or granules. Or do I really want to know. Gad, this was hysterical!!
Boom !
As someone who used to be a professional graphic designer back in the nineties, all I can say is there better be more tutorials!
This must have taken so long to make! The graphics have a real Lucas Arts vibe to them, absolutely love it.
Kind of reminds me of Maxxis, sim city etc
This is absolutely my favorite channel ever
The close-up "beauty shot" had me laughing coffee out of my nostrils. Thanks Uri, you're a star :D :D
@Just to watch stuff ha, thanks! She is 😻
7:04 ah yes bathwater, my favourite wood finish...
This thing has so many small details in it. Its amazing
And now you know what Salvador Dalí would have done with a computer.
Hol up, youtube never gave me the notification wtf?? I only found this by thinking to myself "I wonder what Uri's up to now?"
Same
You and Uri should collaborate. Make an awesome brass PC and Uri will fashion some elaborate nonsensical power button. Love both of your guys channels
I got unsubbed!
Same. It took Jazza painting him in oil for me to check.
@@marialiyubman Excuse me what ?
You can really see the work that went into the texture on that close up.
That close up high definition shot is a thing of beauty.
I can't imagine how much editing went into it! who wants more tutorials?
He always puts in the work!
Now you have to make a pixelated spoon for real though
Right. Just put a bunch of different colored tiny blocks together and carve it. I'm sure knowing Uri he will make it look just as easy lol. He's a trip isn't he?
He's right Uri.

I don't know what I was expecting, but it was both this and not this all at the same time. Marvelous.
This must have been SUCH a time consuming project. I love it.
Ah Uri, what a strange and unexpected treat this was! Brilliantly done.
This was excellent. The best thing about this channel is that you never know what's coming next.
I was starting to get worried for your long absence, now that you're back.. i'm even more worried
Pixels go a long way.
I can't believe yt didn't feed this to me as a long time subscriber to his channel. Probably his best work I've seen.
50 years from now this will confuse the s&$t out of people looking back at early maker tutorials. Brilliant!
“Hey google, how cold is it outside”
“Ok, spoon carving initiated”
xDDDD
7:34 i love the close up showcase shots. it shows how the carving was near perfection, and you can see the amazing wood texture.
This was incredible. Although it took me from feeling like I was a master of photoshop to feeling like I don't know the first thing.
Finally, a tutorial that makes sense!
Not only are you a renaissance man, you are a meme lord.
This is the king of all of the heavily accented photoshop tutorials that I have ever seen.
Absolutely BRILLIANT. Thanks to you I found a way to have a workshop into the limited space of my desktop and finally get myself into wood carving with machinery... wihout loosing my wife.
Da Vinci would be proud of you
This activated my stupid google home.
Funny, my phone didn't.

Of course uri. You never cease to amaze
The definition of any artistic tutorials ever.
Genius. The vast effort that went into this is not lost on me. I'd like this ten times if I could.
This feels like the learning games i played in elementary school. Thats not an insult, i love this.
Your are a crazy man Uri and I love it. Keep up your weird habits and ur way of doing things. All the best for 2021
Finally. You've come back from, wherever you were. I really appreciate the effort you put into this. Thank you for all.
This was the most incredible thing i have ever seen and i've been on your channel for a long time. The amount of talent you have is beyond anything that should be humanly possible. I love this new series and would love to see more of this sort of thing in the future.
Every time I think about how he is good at everything, he came with another different talent and increase my admiration level.
Another great video. Thanks.
This is the type of content I pay my internet bill for.
Lol
Wow. This was the most in-depth photo+wood shop tutorial I've found so far.
I really do appreciate how much this took me back to the feel of the animation in kids PC games of the 90's
I'm 19 seconds in and I love it already.
when will he ever stop diversifying his artistic mediums!!
I think you live in a special place. When you are good you are very very good but when you are crazy you are still very good. Thank you.
Welcome back to the first episode of “Nonsense Tutorials”. Uri is a creative genius. So glad I subscribed to this channel. He never fails to surprise me.
I just finished carving a spoon yesterday. It's a very satisfying activity.
What software did you use?

Lovely :D you are amazing at pixel art, like every other type of art you make! This was super creative and nice to watch!
It gives me hope, that crazy, witty and skilled people like you walk the Earth.
Omg the animations are reminiscent of playing those old point and click video games. Love it!!
I love everything about this.
Also,
delicious.
When carving a spoon, the best tip I ever learnt from my Sensei was to remove everything the does NOT look like a spoon. Only a spoon will remain.
this is the most legit photoshop tutorials i've ever seen.
You certainly are the man, especially when it comes to photoshop carving tutorials! Some of the most entertaining content on RUclips!
"Hey google, how cold is it outside?"
**Spoon carving initiated.**
The amount of effort put into this shit-post makes for an intimidating aura...
The pixel art and animations are great. It’s like I’m playing a PC game from the early 2000’s.
From all the tutorials about carving in photoshop this is the only one that works. Thanks!
Always be sure to make a backup before pressing the George Button. Happens to all of us at some point.
Beautiful spoon, didn't know about the stake option in Photoshop, thanks for the tutorial!
Not what I thought I was subscribed for, but I’m realizing now that I’m here more for your creativity and dedication to your projects than just for the outlandish hand-made thing-a-ma-bobs. Exceptionally well done, Uri, as always!
Very useful tutorial! Thank you not many people are teaching how to make spoons on photoshop so to find such a amazing tutorial is like an angels blessing!
I like this, but I can't stop stressing over how long this must have taken.

Most underrated tutorial on the internet.
Uri spent some time on monkey island over christmas holiday I assume haha
That was my first thought, just from the animated pigeon at the start
Hahaha we missed you man. I smiled through the whole thing. You're great buddy, hilarious. Now you have to do it in real life to show how easy it is. Haha. Awesome man.

Marvellous, this must be the best tutorial on RUclips
Maybe press control p next time and print one out with your wood printer
When you talked to google, my google answered. I don't usually get that anymore.
As a graphic designer who has watched many tutorials, I can strongly say that this is the best by far.
This pixel art is phenomenal. Well done.
