Holy shit that thing is fucking awesome! I want that too!
I like how your engine revs. My 2008 RS 125 had some parts on it when I bought it. Mitaka 140cc, 34 carb, Italkit Reed, Arrow exaust, VHM head with 1,0mm squish only gives good power up to about 10300rpm, and not so much power as yours.
I think I Will swap for an Italkit 140cc instead, and do some light porting. 👍👍👍
Top speed??
@@doomslayer4209 With the Mikata kit it managed only about 145km/h (90mph)
@@Nisse977 really strange
@@Justgreen89925 Today I have the Italkit instead 👍 I have ported it and installed it just a couple of weeks ago. I have not yet been out testing it because of snow 😊 But I found a problem with the ignition pickup when going through the bike during the install of Italkit. The pickup was placed wrong by the previous owner and was therefore hit by the flywheel bump, so it bent the pickup bracket so the ignition became a bit regarded compared what it should be.
I hope the engine will rev nicely to 12000rpm and be powerful after correcting the ignition and installing the Italkit 140cc 👍
@@Nisse977 good luck then!
With 1.6 mm squish, which max rpm is achieved?
Mierzyłeś stopień sprężania? Jeżeli tak, to jest faktycznie tak jak producent podaje? I chyba na takim doprężeniu silnika paliwo tylko 98? Pozdro :D
Hi mick, what do you use for jet size and needles?
I think this was 148 main jet and K57 needle, now im using 155 main and k25 needle and its working better.
@@micksride217 stock dellorto 28mm od bigger? Is there original cylinder or 140-150ccm? Like italkit?

Thats so cool
Hi mick, where you using the air box in this video or open air filter
Original airbox with original rubber intake.
Thanks mick, was the 148 main jet too lean or was perfect?
@@thesweeneyboys2974 a little too lean, 152/154 was better.
@micksride217 that's was great help thanks to you I have my bike running good I have the same set up, what notch on the k25 needle do you have
Sorry, this is 2 stock or 4 stock ?? Is amazing the acceleration
The hell is stock
what carburettor jets and setting were used ? great score

How to increase the speed of the Aprilia RS4 125cc Can you tell me the secret of how to increase CC.? 😊
Hey do u have the link for buy the arrow plz i don’t find thx
GPS or speedo speeds?
1.6 mm squish, thats a bit gap.
Getting to 200 is going to be hard, too much wind resistance of what this engine can pull.
Noob question : how do i slow down from high speeds on a 2 stroke? And downshifting
When you're braking from higher speeds, clutch in and rev lightly every ~1-2 seconds (like the guy in the video) so the engine can lubricate itself. When you're at your desired speed, let out clutch slowly and apply throttle as you let the clutch out
@@motia4888 what about engine braking?
@@dannyang798 avoid it, 2 strokes only get lubricated under throttle. That's why the guy in the video goes clutch in with small revs every second. When you engine brake, 2 stroke engines get little to no lubrication, leading to piston and piston ring damage.
@@motia4888 how do they approach a corner in the right speed then? Ive watched videos of rs125's on tracks and they would engine brake the hell out of them when approaching corners . Is there a difference between a premix system and a 2 stroke injection system?
@@dannyang798 well those are track situations, possibly race situations. Maintenance and repairs are more frequent, those people can afford it. That's why they engine brake. There's a reason you rarely see 2 stroke sport bikes on the road. And there's literally no majod difference with premix and a 2 stroke injection system. Premix bikes might run higher fuel flow though, mildly increasing power. My bike uses premix fuel
Sprocket setup plz, and this a a 140 cc at least!
Qu'elle reglage carburateur ? Merci
What is your setup and holy shit by the way

Rotax122 engine, which dellorto Carb?
34
in my time, back in 2001 the polini 154cc was the only option. at that time polini has a speacial exhaust for that 154cc kit. My AF1 rotax 123 with boostport. With a littel porting and the polini exhaust, and the stock 34mm dellorto(with mod inlets). beats mod!! transmisson standart 16-38 shiftet to 17-36 5gear 12000rpm was 190km/h in 5gear!!!6 gear was way over 200(210-220)! the speedo shows only 200 max
Were you buy your parts from
154 polini is slower than a good 125cc. probably in 2001 your speedometer was not so good.
@@dvandam9574 there are many problems in 154cc:
1st. Weight of the piston. It is to much fat, big piston = less rpm and sportive motorbikes Need lots of rpm. Have you ever seen a 154 at 14000rpm? No.
Always for the weight. Crankshaft Is Always under stress and It is easier to break for the Rod.
2nd. Valve timing. 154cc Polini kit was Born for cross. At higher rpm it arrivers at 10500rpm. Yes you can modifie the cilynder but it's not the same thing.
I never seen on the track "big bore kit" and all the pilots says "the engine is slower. I prefer 125 because It is faster and it works at higher rpm"
154cc is good just for the torque
gave mine a 140 and its way better and faster then my 125 and it depends how you drive. Ask yourself do you need torque or topspeed ? How many secs do u drive topspeed? How many times do you need top torque?
@@dvandam9574 140cc is a good compromise for Road use but on the race track 125 is better. With higher rpm..
Yes you have less torque but higher HP. In a race track with a small bike like an Aprilia RS 125 is difficult to Need a lot of torque because your engine will be always at the maximum rpm.
Moreover... Two stroke sound is amazing when it's fucking high
Wgere can i buy this transmisiin
dixerparts.com/steel-sprocket-up-to-50-teeth-custom-made/
Nowadays 250cc 4stroke sport bike struggle to touch 190kph and EVEN THAT the speedometer are inaccurate/too optimistic .how the time have changed...
These 250 ccm burns 3l/100, this burns 10/100.
