You'll be hard-pressed to find an affordable roaster with the ability to roast over 240 grams that uniformed throughout the roast. At a price point of under 800.00. is clearly a steal. My Hottop 2K roaster doesn't come close to the level of uniformity at twice the cost. I have to keep it under 150 grams for an even roast. Great job Bunafr, looking forward to seeing the software portion of the project.
It seems like the beans expanded to be too much for the bottom cup, and it seems the overflow may have been edited out at 5:39 ? The beans suddenly fade away rather than finish dropping.
Yes Bunafr please post a complete roast from start to finish, NO edits. BONUS: show the roast curve, profile data and the a clear cooled tray of results
@Landon - There hasn't been any editing for the dispense and overflow. However, the size of the roasted container will be slightly bigger than shown because what is show is for the 200g of roasting.
Really nice. Can you please make a video of your app for the control of roast (curve, profile, parameters...). A question : how do you clean the glass of the roast chamber ? thanks.
Awesome!!! Super excited to get this eventually! (Backed on indegogo) This is the second video I’ve seen where a bean gets stuck on the top of the middle cylinder. Is it possible to machine that with a slight cone/dome on top to get beans to fall back into the rest of the mass? Perhaps even a little removable metal cone cap if machining is already done for that part!
Hi There - Anthok - Thanks for the feedback. This is something we are 200% confident of resolving it with the small improvements in the agitator design. We understand that it is very important to not leave any bean left behind.
@@zeropuckprep one bean clearly did in this video. Could easily be shaken free, but at the price point I’m seeing for this, they could (should) machine the top on that shaft with a dome or conical shape so that doesn’t happen.
Hello, are you able to roast enough green beans when the roasted beans will amount to 200g or 250g? This is the weight of roasted beans I'm asking, not green beans
@jonathon -- this is *NOT edited* during the roasting. We just didn't capture the the full pre-heating time. From the time beans are dropped into the chamber to the cooling and the dispense it is shown as is. We will post another video of the same roasting from different angle and no music to show the different perspective.

@@bunafr6168 that’s fine! I just want to see the full roast (including preheat, cool down and results). a video with curves or UI would help too esp to see TRT & development.
What is the amount of beans in this batch in grams and relative to the max? Also think the logo on front should be laser engraved plain aluminum color instead of inked white. Besides it looks perfect.
Hi Daryl - Thanks for the great feedback as always from you. We are looking into same color vs white color logo. We tried the engraved too. The batch size was 200 grams in this video.

Super exciting. Looks great. How easy will it be to take apart to clean the roast chamber?
Hi Avi - We can easily take the glass of the roast chamber from the top lid which is attached by magnets.
I think it needs to be improved so that coffee does not go up on the middle pillar.
You think coffee beans will get stuck in the middle of the pillar? 😅

It is only for subscription to buy beans also!? I would be interested for the machine only.
Hi there, you can get our roaster and still have full control over your roast.

Yes, the weight of the roasted beans can be well over 200g.
