Yeah that'll take a few centuries to recover from, however I think Dagon should count himself lucky Akatosh didn't go for his balls. That would've killed him 😉.
I installed Wintersun a few months ago, and was so confused when I found Sanguine's "shrine". (For those who don't know, Wintersun is a mod that expands religion in Skyrim and makes it an actual thing in roleplaying.) I had the option to drink the booze, and... whaddayaknow, the game asks me if I want to worship Sanguine. XD NO.

That was one of the most WTF quests in the game. 2 days after I did the quest, some dude asked me to pay him back the money for some dumb hat. Who the hell pays 7000 coin for a hat? Which idiot would listen to a drunk Dragonborn?
Now that would be one hell of a party! Just don't tell Malacath... he's no fun at parties. Really none of the others would be fun either come to think of it. Nah, Sanguine works by knowing what people want which is kinda the perfect setting for Sheogorath who is literally unpredictable to manipulate the situation into tricking Sanguine in some way or other. It's kinda what he does and Sanguine is pretty vulnerable to it. As to why he would screw Sanguine over to begin with? Well, it's Sheogorath...

So, he isn't exactly evil. It's just that giving into his sphere of influence too much can cause a lot if destruction. Nothing wrong with giving in once in a while, but just don't go too far. Everything in moderation. In the end, any chaos and destruction he causes is indirect. He just doesn't care about the consequences. Not evil, just reckless.
@@puzzleheadedmoney5910 No one forces you to do anything. Sheogorath said it best, "It is already within you. You had it all along." Sanguine is the same way. He shows you, but you have the will to give in or not.
@@LadyCoyKoi Yeah. One could argue that none of the Princes really have any choice in what they do, it's just who they are. Take Dagon for example. He causes a lot of destruction, but so does a volcano. Would you hate a volcano for erupting?
"Boredom is the root of all evil. It is very curious that boredom, which itself has such a calm and sedate nature, can have such a capacity to initiate motion. The effect that boredom brings about is absolutely magical, but this effect is one not of attraction but of repulsion." Søren Kirkegård
Why Sheogorath? Yeah, he might have a sick sense of humor, but he's hilarious. If anything I would say he's helpful to mortals because he keeps them on their toes. The fact that he fucks with other Daedra the most almost makes him seem like a good guy, or at least grey.
Radioactive Nightmarez yeah, he's only him because jyygalag was so op that all the other daedra were scared shitless and had to curse him. Well now he's restored and sheo is the hero of kvatvh of course
He's like Loki. He's not "harmless", but can partake in harmless fun. Can also make your entire world crash around you, for a good laugh. If you enjoy a good coin flip, go ahead, call on his name.
@Roedeadeye Not exactly. 99% of Norse Mythology is Loki either (a) fixing a problem the Aesir caused and getting zero credit for it, and (b) playing some form of prank and receiving cartoonish comeuppance for it. Balder's death is a pretty weird tale that may or may not have been part of a sacrifice to Odin. As for Ragnarok, the Eddas almost go out of their way to portray it as a GOOD thing, Loki avenging his and his childrens' suffering, destroying the Aesir, tearing down an old world so that a new world can be made with an Only-Mostly-Dead Balder coming back as sole God.
🤣I noticed that during playing the game, but was like "Cleaver Daedra." Velekh Sein did told us that names have power, so Sanguine was careful, but at the same time being playful with his name, trying to see if we catch on. We of course were ... one tequila, two tequila, three tequila, and floor, ending up with a Hangover adventure of our own.
Can you make builds based around all the different daedric prince's, i would love to see builds based around sanguine, nocturnal, clavicus vile and peryite
Aksel Evensen yh i love fudge but their builds are always about the same popular princes such as the tribunal, molag bal and meurunes dagon(i totally butchered the spelling)
I totally agree! I'd love to see a Nocturnal build, but I would drop everything to play a Vaermina build. She is arguably one of the most evil Daedric Princes, but has such a terrifying and subtle method about her.
So Azura was a bit cranky, mebbe overreacted a bit. But what doctrinal threat does she pose to mortalkind? So long as you don't tick her off, what bad things is she into? =0[.]o=
That's not really fair, her entire quest in oblivion was killing her followers that were suffering from vampirism; and actually honours their souls for all time with ever-lit candles. Moreover, Azura's priestess and followers were saved from red mountain by her visions in Skyrim. Though, she still is a petty and vindictive bitch if you piss her off, which I find hilarious.
Another thing to note; Everyone knows how destructive lying, murder, and rape are so mortal society actively tries to prevent them. However beer and wine are not seen as evil as people derive enjoyment out of intoxication and indulge themselves at fun social gatherings and celebrations. This makes Sanguine far more insidious than the other princes, what better way to corrupt mortals then to make sinful actions considered normal? Great video as always btw!
That rose is beautiful. Its your soul, a symbol of you. You use drugs and summon these things to quench your thirst to empty your pain. You summon your demon to fight the fight in life. Yet with every use. You lose a piece of yourself, it's a representation of the bad that can happen with good fun.
I like how they clarify it as "dangerous" not "powerful"... Most Powerful would be either Jygalog (I probably butchered that spelling) or Sheogorath...thanks to Oblivion, they are no longer 1 and the same but Jygalog was apparently weakened after the Hero of Kvatch mantled Sheogorath. Dangerous...I guess Sanguine has a lot of potential, but I personally would say Sheogorath due to the fact that HE can pretty much do whatever he wants, and not even the other Daedra can stop him...Sheogorath actually seems to have a habit of screwing over other "gods" (despite what the Vigilants say/believe, the Daedric Princes are gods and they pack more power than the Aedra or the Divines-- Talos/Ysmir was originally Human and therefore not a true Aedra) just because he's bored/he can...if he were to turn his attention to the mortal plane and decide "everyone dies"...they'd all be dead by the end of the day at the latest.
LiL Deer these are children’s stories “Small bite sized videos” Exactly why their lore videos are trash i could go onto any other mainstream lore channel and find the exact same shit there’s very few who actually know what theyre talking about, beyond the basics, these guys seem like they dont know much
Sanguine is definitely the most fun Daedric Prince. And truth be told, he is one that personally, I'd worship for the entirety of my life if he was real, and not just a character in a beloved video game series. He's my type of Daedric Prince completely. Him, Hircine, and Sheogorath.
The two are now different entities, since the Shivering Isles. Jygglag lost much of his power, but he's now his own being apart from Sheogorath. The Hero of Kvatch took on the mantle of Sheogorath.
Cyynric what you say is true but jyggalag will never be separate from sheogorath. sheogorath explain that himself before he vanish. And the hero took his place.
Actually Jygilag and I have the same amount of power that was the purpose of the greymarch so he could not oppress the daedra. The plan backfired when the hero became Sheogorath and we Jygilag and I became separate beings. I am chaose he is order out intellect is the same though I am more erratic. No greymarch means he can come back at any time. I have bested most daedra at their own games. We are and forever shall be two halves of the dame coin. Even with our power in half we still remain more powerful than the other daedra.
Ah... Sanguine. Or should I say: All of us. Sanguine - The being whom I firmly believe is only fun if you do not have to deal with a little magical thing we like to call: "Actions have consequences." To us who visit Tamriel from distances away: Do your actions hold dear consequences to you? Surely not, for you possess a power to manipulate space, and time, to go back and undo any grievous mistakes made, or not give a single horkers tusks worth for things done. Yet if you were truly putting your own neck on the line, robbed of all your power to simply be a distant mover of puppets, and instead have to consider cautiously what moves you make, less you truly end up on the receiving end of a world of hurt: Would you ever find Sanguine, or any of the Daedric princes jolly good fun? In Tamriel we seldom suffer from consequences, and in that regard: We are akin to Sanguine... No, its fairer to say: We are Sanguine. To us its a merry experience, and drinking a hundred bottles of ale to heal from a fight with a very miffed bear is akin to nothing. To do things just for the sake of finding them amusing, even if they are morally questionable, is just jolly good fun. Accepting contracts to beat poor beggars into submission simply because they annoyed someone is but more gold to spend on things in a store, for none of it has any consequences. Sanguine is you, and you are Sanguine. Think on that the next time you consider murdering an entire town, giggling with joy, because it matters not what you do: There are no consequences, for you can either revert it all, or simply not feel a thing. And do you not have the ability to also turn Tamriel into nothing, but a pleasure pocket? Enveloping it into akin to that of the highly malleable realm of Oblivion? Thus I greet you as Sanguine: Hello Sanguine.
Jygalaag is the strongest or rather was the strongest seeing as he took ALL the princes to stop and curse him. Sheogorath would NOW be considered strongest as he seems to have the most influence and power. He can freely do what he pleases that far scale past what the other princes can do. I guess madness makes you not really prone to following simple power rules lol
I was wondering : Do you get crazy because of Sheogorath? Or is he your best buddy if you are crazy? Or are all people that are crazy a part of Sheogorath?
Drew, I thoroughly enjoyed your piece on Sanguine. Given the Daedric Princes’ “penchant for extremism,” I wholeheartedly agree with your point that if Sanguine’s influence on Nirn remained unchecked by counter forces (e.g., Stendarr and Zenithar), then it isn’t impossible that Tamriel would look like a continent of gambling arenas, taverns, brothels, and skooma dens. Your video was thoughtful and well done! As to your request for my favorite Daedric Prince, that’s an answer that shifts like the sands of Elsweyr, but, given my passion for the Khajiit and their lore, I’d say I most like Azurah and Namiira for their roles in Khajiiti legends. Azurah serves as progenitor of the Khajiit, for she enacted change upon a population of forest people, formed them into the into feline race, and bound those feline forms to the lunar cycles. Namiira serves an interesting dual role in Khajiiti society as a sort-of devil figure, since her realm (the Dark Behind the World) is the fate of “bent cats,” but she also seems to serve as a corrector, since “bent cats” remain with her only “until their tails are straight.”
I believe all the daedra are... necessary. And not inherently evil. You addressed all the good and bad aspects in Sanguine. On the bright side, he brings about every party, every night of drinking, every little get together; and probably causes the most happiness of any single entity in the elder scrolls. However, he also causes countless overdoses, addictions, and other horrors. One doesn't outweigh the other; both are a part of the world. Similarly, Molag Bal might lead to horrid tyrants who rule over the land with a brutal iron fist; however, however, he also leads to order, rulership, and stability. He causes evil, but is necessary. And when he becomes too brutal and powerful, there are Boethia-his nemesis-and Mehrunes Dagon; Boethia turns others against his tyrrany, while Mehrunes brings them together to form a revolution.
You can also argue that Nocturnal and Sheogorath aren't evil. Perhaps morally ambiguous at best, but not entirely evil, either. Truth be told, both of their natures are just so unknowable and unpredictable, we can never really know for sure.
I always thought that Shegorath is the most powerful Daedra, but to mad to really pose a Threat. The most influential and also powerful Daedra besides him are afaik Nocturnal and Asura, the most Danger to the mortal realm is posed by Molag Bal and Mehrunes Dagon. I would say Hercine can be devastating, but he's not really evil, so he is a smaller Threat. And I would say that Meridia should not even be considered evil, cause she obviously is not lul
Yonas Shinigami Meridia gets a bad rap because, for some reason, Bethesda made her the Daedric Prince behind Umaril the Unfeathered, the Knights of the Nine DLC villain. I don't think that's entirely fair, though, because all the actions perpetrated by Umaril are his, and shouldn't necessarily be cast at Meridia's feet. And besides this, she was the patron goddess of the Ayleids, being the divine personification of light, and so it would make sense that one of her ancient champions from the Merethic Era would be an Ayleid. Well, he became half-Ayleid and half-Daedra, but no matter. And who knows? Maybe she did have legitimate beef with some of the Divines, and we just happened to get caught in the crossfire. I mean, she was a key player in defeating Molag Bal and ending his Planesmeld, so she clearly cares about Mundus (which she helped to create, as well). But she gets no love for either because of KotN and whatever the hell was going on there. Me? I think Umaril was simply insane and doing his own thing. But who knows?
Sanguine is too much for Dibella. Dibella is "Romeo and Juliet" softcore, while Sanguine is "50 Shades of Gray" hardcore. To put it into internet perspective... Dibella is Playboy and Hustler, while Sanguine is that deep, deep inner darkest, nastiest part of Dark Web that everyone warns you about... the creepy side of the internet. If anything, Dibella would fear for her life if such a confrontation exists. Meanwhile, Mara would have an instant heart attack at the spot. Sanguine would be like, "Giggy goo. Two for one!"
I see Sanguine as one of the least evil of the daedra, up there with Meridia and Azura, as he doesn't really want to be bad, he just likes having a laugh at someone else's expense while getting shitfaced.
In Oblivion, if you give the Sanguine Rose to Martin Septim he reveals that he used to be a Sanguine worshiper before he was a priest and possessed the artifact in that time. This could be another hint to the power and true intentions of Sanguine. It's possible Martin sought out a Sanguine cult or Sanguine just took a random interest in him, but that's quite a coincidence. The Mythic Dawn didn't assassinate Martin because they didn't know he was a Septim who could light the Dragonfires, but Mehrunes Dagon definitely knew. That's why Kvatch was the first city to get attacked and it was taken while Martin happened to be in it. Maybe Sanguine, being a Daedric Prince, had this information too and sought to corrupt Martin so that he wouldn't be able to sacrifice himself for Tamriel. He could potentially have some sort of agreement with Mehrunes Dagon, as breaking the boundaries between Mundus and Oblivion would benefit all Daedra, not just Dagon. Think of the damage he could have done if he got Martin Septim killed prematurely, or turned him into a drunkard or skooma addict.
My character is a collector and archivist of legends, information, powers and artifacts. She was drawn into Sanguine's trap only after much insistence and ultimately, the rose ended up on a rack with all the others besides Dawnbreaker which she uses After many hours of study and some field tests, it will likely gather dust next to Wabbajack and the Staff of Magnus in the Archmage's quarters. Probably not the fate he intended it for.
If by dangerous you mean he takes you to vegas for your bachelor party and then spikes the jaeger in an attempt to make sure everyone has a good time, then yes. he is the most dangerous.
Im afraid Sheogorath has that medal to be the most dangerous Daedric Prince, before him it was The Prince of Order Jyggalag.. perhaps he still is, in a sense.
Cano Noodle I am perfectly content showing my power with simple tricks...well simple to me. The other daedra must be so upset losing at their own games.
Personally, I love Hermaeus Mora the most. He is dangerous because he is true neutral. He has no stance in wether the world remains orderly or descends into chaos, nor does he care about benevolent rule or tyrrany. All he cares about is filling up his library with all the knowledge he can find. The kind of knowledge, its quality or its usefulness don't even matter to him. If it is something to be known, he wants it. And if you seek it, wether you like it or not, wether you know it or not, you are his servant. Hermaeus Mora is so dangerous because he would stop at nothing just to discover a little-known way to skin a horker. He has killed over information that is of no use to him whatsoever. And he knows, better than any other, the lure of knowledge. Because as you assist him in his search for more and more knowledge, it starts to corrupt your mind. You start to become addicted, and it's an addiction you won't even notice. You pick up a book as a child. You've just learnt to read, so you open it and start to put that ability to use. Once you've read the first sentence, you want to know what the next has to say. Then the next page. Then the next chapter. Then the next book. Then the next series. Before you know it, you've made a study of the books you read. And then another. And then you want to know more. You learn more languages so that you may absorb more knowledge from more books. You travel all over the world just to find that one volume that you can't find anywhere else. You fill up a library with the books you collect, and still it is not enough to still your thirst for knowledge. Every new fact you learn raises a dozen more questions, and you cannot rest until you've found all of the answers. Eventually, you die, having lead a life of study and scrutiny, the life of a researcher, a scientist. And you may feel fulfilled, but all the while, you have never noticed those slimy, black tentacles wrap around your brain, and as you blow out your last breath, Hermaeus Mora chuckles, as he carefully arranges volume after volume of the knowledge you worked so hard to collect on the shelves of his library...
rollin thirtys don’t worry, you’ll meet a girl that’s into Skyrim and stuff like that, trust me, there’s lots of girls out there that love video games.
ehhh, I really don't think sanguine counts as dangerous or evil. the greeks also had a god of partying, I think his name was bauccus, and he never described as a bad guy. you may be able to say that sanguine is responsible for the temptations, although I suspect those existed before he did, but he never makes mortals do anything against their will.
I feel like this Daedric prince is as evil of the rest of them he's just evil in his own way he's not evil in a way of murdering every body on nirn just don't be mistaken by his chill tone and his drunk fun he's basically the god of sin of lust
I consider Sanguine to be neither good nor evil. He is simply curious, and Mundus is a playground with which he can experiment and explore with no real consequence. A sandbox. Kind of like the world of Skyrim is for us, the player. I don't think the indulgence and pleasure seeking that he encourages are inherently evil. The hard work and labor of Zenithar must be balanced with a large glass of mead and a good lay, otherwise we mortals kind of go nuts. So he serves his purpose in the grand scheme of things.
I think most dangerous is Jyagglag. His order isn’t Stendarr’s order. Stendarr is obedience to the laws of the land and man. His is oppressive authoritarian sameness. That type of order that has thousands boots marching in unison. Where every moment of the day is the same without deviation. That is why the other Daedric princes had to band together to defeat him before the Oblivion found his type of order.
he's not evil, he's just trying to have a good time. you would too if you where immortal. after all after time all things begin to lose the color they once held.
He is evil in my opinion, he represents hedonism and selfishness, he won't outright kill you like Molag Bal but he can take over important people by tempting them into a life a selfishness and hedonism kind of lie how Sheogorath slowly makes you insane. Imagine if he decided to do that to the dragonborn. The closest thing I can compare him to is Satan because Satan is all about hedonism and self gratification. Like the video said he is behind every adiction, every act of selfishness, and everything like that. Maybe not quite as evil as Molag Bal or anything but still evil and dangerous.
I'm of the mind that Sanguine himself isn't the problem. Everything that happens to the Dragonborn is pretty much a result of poor judgment followed by a loss of control and memory of their own actions. I would argue that the same holds true of everyone Sanguine interacts with. Those beaten spouses? Those bar brawls? Victims of much deeper problems than simple drunkenness. The term 'in vino veritas' exists for a reason; being drunk doesn't magically turn someone into an asshole, it just brings out assholeish tendencies that were already there. (It does make people stupid, however, and there's really no getting around that.) And sex? There's really nothing wrong with it at its core, as long as it doesn't take over your life (or, if it does, that you can still do soemthing productive with it; this is where sex workers come in). Debauchery, in and of itself, isn't a bad thing, as long as you still remember to treat your partner decently. You know, unless they have a humiliation or degradation kink. But those aren't really Sanguine's problems to address or fix. His job is to show you a good time. Your job is to not turn into a dick while you do it. (For future videos, I'd love to see your take on Azura or Meridia)
Yeah wouldn't say "much weaker". Sheogorath's still stronger than most. And the other Daedric princes were so afraid of jyggalag they cursed him into Sheogorath.
Worshippers of Molag Bal:"Lord Bal is the most powerful Daedric Prince. He can dominate even the most staunch warriors, unleashed the miasma of vampirism, and has the tenacity to boot! How could anyone possibly live up to such a reputation?!" Sanguine:"Hold my beer..."
Yeah, a bit weird how more recent depictions of him show him as some super fun guy who just wants to have some fun with the protagonist even though he is evil, sadistic, terrifying and lacks any real motives other than chaos and sadism. I still enjoy his recent missions though.
Sanguine is probably my favorite (Male) Daedric Prince. I feel that what makes him so dangerous is that his influence allows other Daedric Princes influence to work in company with his own.
From what you've said, Sanguine and Stendarr play a pretty similar role of God and Devil. God (Stendarr) promising glory to mortals who follow The Laws, and Devil distracting them with "flesh pleasures" and philosophies of atheism
azura is like old testament god. like someone causes her a minor inconvinience and azura is like PESTILENCE!, FLOOD! or like a 50's dad, like she whips out the belt and is like "you wot mate?"
I'd argue that Meridia has the potential to be just as dangerous do to the nature of her quest. As a beacon of light and an enemy if the undead and as righteous as she may seem, it's easy to appreciate her. But that facade is super dangerous. I'm not sure how many ESO players are here but if anyone has completed the Summerset Isles DLC then there's a tidbit of information that's really disturbing at the end of that quest. **SPOILERS** At the end of the story after defeating Nocturnal and saving the Crystal Tower, you are granted audience with the Summerset queen (Not the AD queen). As you leave the palace hall, you'll hear to guards discussing a strange book that randomly manifested in an otherwise magically protected palace. Investigate and find a book with a message from Meridia's champion and your player character's friend through not just Daggerfall's quest line but also the main story and Summerset's, Darien Gautier. He speaks words of gratitude to you and words of warning that Meridia is a deciever. She promised him freedom from his bonds as her golden knight, another chance at life but instead she shreaded his physical existence and left him nothing more than a consciousness in her Deadric realm. Her quest may be righteous but I think she may just be one of the more evil Deadric Princes. At least Sanguine is pretty transparent about his goals.
He himself is one who offers to feed a mortal's weakness. Like making the deal with the devil, he just gives them what they want. Truly it is the mortal's own weakness that does them in
This prince sounds like a wonderfull guy, just all party on dude, hahaha. Also we are all in control over our own choices,so you can't really blame poor sanguine for everything bad going on.
Sometimes, the most lethal of things comes in a seemingly innocuous package. I absolutely love that you called Sanguine a "bro." :D Made my day to hear him associated with "It was just a prank, bro."
Hard pressed to find a price less bad? Meridia. Took all of 2 seconds to come up with one, and 5 seconds to think of Azurah. Better choice of words next time, Fudge :P
pyromaniac000000 Meridia is responsible for Umrial the unfeathered, she brought him back. Azura cursed an entire race due to the actions of three people
The_Drop Bear they are both infinitely better than Sanguine. Meridia fights the undead, and has connections to the very life energy of mortals. Lady Azurah is the mother cat of the Khajiiti people, worshiped by both cat and mer for her kindness.
The_Drop Bear she was only defending the Aylieds that worships her at that time. Also in KotN, she allows you to battle her former champion as he is a corrupt cyborg that she counts him as 'undead'

frosty more like an akatosh up his tosh
Yeah that'll take a few centuries to recover from, however I think Dagon should count himself lucky Akatosh didn't go for his balls. That would've killed him 😉.

He is evil though, he knows what he's doing, he is the one causing mortals to do it. Nobody is making him.

To mortals. However I would say sheogorath is the most dangerous to both mortals and daedra. And jyygalag to daedra.
Why Sheogorath? Yeah, he might have a sick sense of humor, but he's hilarious. If anything I would say he's helpful to mortals because he keeps them on their toes. The fact that he fucks with other Daedra the most almost makes him seem like a good guy, or at least grey.

Well he must have been quite dangerous if the other Daedra decided to all go up against him and weaken him.

Maybe in marvel. In Norse mythology he did some pretty nasty things..
Depends on what needs to be done and who pisses them off on both counts...
And to be honest, Loki is a blend of Sanguine and Sheogorath.
All daedric prince's are not "harmless", even Azura, the most saintly of the lot of them, has kicked some major ass before!
I think he's more like dionysus

Raycheetah
Azura cursed an entire race due to the actions of three people, and directly caused Red year
So Azura was a bit cranky, mebbe overreacted a bit. But what doctrinal threat does she pose to mortalkind? So long as you don't tick her off, what bad things is she into? =0[.]o=
Being more into her own power, rather than the needs of her worshipers.
*reads every negative comment against azura
Welp, Meridia then. Her motives are justifiable

But then there won't be any fun... sanguine, sheo they don't like to kill just tease
I'd like to know a little more about Meridia. I believe Meridia and Azura to be the lesser of the evil Daedra given my experience in the games.

Sanguine is definitely the most fun Daedric Prince. And truth be told, he is one that personally, I'd worship for the entirety of my life if he was real, and not just a character in a beloved video game series. He's my type of Daedric Prince completely. Him, Hircine, and Sheogorath.
Sheagorath has to be the most powerful, hands down. Especially if his true self is realized.
Rarity Belle
No that Jygglag
The_Drop Bear That's literally his true form. Did you play shivering isles?
Sanguine is the "Dude, Where's My Car?" daedra.
"Hangover" and "Superbad" Daedra.
Ah... Sanguine. Or should I say: All of us.
Sanguine - The being whom I firmly believe is only fun if you do not have to deal with a little magical thing we like to call: "Actions have consequences."
To us who visit Tamriel from distances away: Do your actions hold dear consequences to you?
Sanguine played us like a damn fiddle.

Krosis Seyn Feel free to keep the Wabbajack As a symbol of my... Oh, just take the damn thing!

...yes.
Krosis Seyn ...And the answer to your question is......all of the above!!!...
Sheogorath Prince of madness great. Now that question is answered. SWEETROLLS FOR EVERYONE!!!
Ryan Moser I’ve never thought of it like that. Really opens your eyes how none in Skyrim are evil. None except for the mortals that roam Mundas.
Then you have meridia, who has been shining her light throughout nirn
You can also argue that Nocturnal and Sheogorath aren't evil. Perhaps morally ambiguous at best, but not entirely evil, either. Truth be told, both of their natures are just so unknowable and unpredictable, we can never really know for sure.
GodKingVivec You just did dummy.
GodKingVivec Don't be so hard on yourself. We can't all be intellectuals anyhow.
Imagine Sheogorath and Sanguine were at your party, that would be one hell of a party, just don't invite Malacath though.
Nor Molag Bal. He's not very popular with the ladies. 😐😕🤢
Yonas Shinigami You thought correctly except for the not being a threat. It's just more fun to torment the other daedra endlessly! HA!
Never trust a Daedric Prince. Even Meridia has her evil side. She supported Umaril and the Ayleids who enslaved humans plus other fucked up shit
Meridia is love, Meridia is life.
Sanguine and Dibella should get together. THAT would be a party.
Dibella would never 😂
Sanguine is too much for Dibella.
@@LadyCoyKoi Why not both, Sanguine is a Daedra of culture.

I see Sanguine as one of the least evil of the daedra, up there with Meridia and Azura, as he doesn't really want to be bad, he just likes having a laugh at someone else's expense while getting shitfaced.
Sanguine and Zenithar as roommates would make for a hilarious sitcom.
"Sanguine is the bro of the daedric lords."
Phesheya Bhembe more like to Sheogorath, as both of these nihilistic lords love to enjoy mortals in their despair

He would be the most powerful, rather than dangerous. Jyg was technically dangerous to manly other daedra as well.
I never thought of him in this way, but ur right, he may seem harmless, but he could rly do some damage.

ehhh, I really don't think sanguine counts as dangerous or evil. the greeks also had a god of partying, I think his name was bauccus, and he never described as a bad guy. you may be able to say that sanguine is responsible for the temptations, although I suspect those existed before he did, but he never makes mortals do anything against their will.

7:19 "every beaten wife" "wonderfull" yes
I would argue that the potentially most destructive daedra is Sheogorath.
Nyghtking Thank you I approve this message
Yeah jyagglag is order, but is a mad order, hence the duality of shegorath and jyagglag, he's more like the insane order the nazis had
he's not evil, he's just trying to have a good time. you would too if you where immortal. after all after time all things begin to lose the color they once held.
Yay my favourite daedric prince is getting some love!!!
Hmmm may not be classified as love in this case 😂
Just did this quest with a new armor overhaul…. And my god did it give him some cool armor. Black steel with red roses. I wanted it so bad.
(It does make people stupid, however, and there's really no getting around that.)
And sex? There's really nothing wrong with it at its core, as long as it doesn't take over your life (or, if it does, that you can still do soemthing productive with it; this is where sex workers come in). Debauchery, in and of itself, isn't a bad thing, as long as you still remember to treat your partner decently. You know, unless they have a humiliation or degradation kink.
But those aren't really Sanguine's problems to address or fix. His job is to show you a good time. Your job is to not turn into a dick while you do it.
(For future videos, I'd love to see your take on Azura or Meridia)
One of these for every Daedric Prince would be extremely cool! I'd love to see Molag Bal next.

My favorite is Azura for being beautifully petty
Heh. At least you're honest.
azura is like old testament god.
like someone causes her a minor inconvinience and azura is like PESTILENCE!, FLOOD!
or like a 50's dad, like she whips out the belt and is like "you wot mate?"
Thabiso Motswagole how about Nocturnal? Love that cleavage
**SPOILERS**
At the end of the story after defeating Nocturnal and saving the Crystal Tower, you are granted audience with the Summerset queen (Not the AD queen).
You should do a "Is Becoming a Robobrain Worth It?" video.
Is being frozen in a vault for many years worth it lol
Compared to molag bal and Dagon. I’ll gladly take a esoteric demon drinking bro.
Sanguine isn't dangerous, mortals are.
As for my favorite daedra, does my girl Meridia count? You know, because she's not actually daedric in origin?
Sanguine and Meridia are tied for my fave.
malacath is not even technically a daedra, he's not even evil at all, that's why he's my fave
He himself is one who offers to feed a mortal's weakness. Like making the deal with the devil, he just gives them what they want. Truly it is the mortal's own weakness that does them in
@FudgeMuppet: Meridia
God, I love the background music in Oblivion way more than I do in Skyrim
I worship Sanguine in real life, or as he is called here, Bacchus.
I always make it a point to praise Bacchus every Thanksgiving, and maybe Mabon to a lesser extent.
Damn another pagan and AnCap here? Nice
I think he is just fun lol! Sheogorath is my favorite daedric prince by far! I do think Sanguine and Sheogorath would be great drinking buddies lol!
"Cheese and Wine" as Becky pointed it out.
Never clicked off of PornHub so fast
SeekersBlue917 _ mute pornhub to listen to this.
Sanguine is disappointed
This prince sounds like a wonderfull guy, just all party on dude, hahaha. Also we are all in control over our own choices,so you can't really blame poor sanguine for everything bad going on.
Nice.
Better choice of words next time, Fudge :P
pyromaniac000000
Meridia is responsible for Umrial the unfeathered, she brought him back.
I came back to rewatch. Such a great series of videos!
Yshaaraj is the most dangerous... Oh wait, wrong game xD
Boo.
I have binged watched nearly all your elder scrolls videos they’re awesome
