I have MVC2 on my Xbox 360 to this day. The only game I honestly thought I would never play again ever in life was MVC 1. That game literally warps me back in time when I was a little kid renting that game constantly and for days at our local mom and pop video rental store. I played this on the PlayStation 1. As I’m typing this I’m literally reliving my old childhood. The memories and the struggles were real

CAPCOM, please consider including X-Men: Mutant Apocalyse and Marvel Super Heroes: War of the Gems as bonus games in this collection, as even Arcade 1Up has these games. I know that the collection is focused on Arcade games, but I consider that these 2 games mentioned cannot be left out of this incredible and long-awaited collection.
And consider including Crossplay between PS4 and Steam at least.
The addition of The Punisher was sensational, an Arcade gem. I hope this is a sign that Alien vs Predator and Caddilacs & Dinnosaurs will also have the same opportunity in a possible Capcom Arcade 3rd Stadium.
And congratulations on finally fulfilling the wish of many fans, I've been waiting for this collection for a long time, and I will have the pleasure of buying it on physical media, just as I have bought several other collections, such as the excellent "Capcom Fighting Collection".

I can’t imagine Capcom would go through the effort of regaining the Marvel license if they weren’t planning a new game in the series again, again. Let’s hope they don’t mess it up this time

@slowdancerr449 It can be played on the PS5 via backward compatibility. I play all my PS4 games on my PS5. You can even attach an external usb hard drive to your PS5 to download your PS4 games on it.

I am so excited for this collection I already have Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Marvel vs. Capcom infinite on my PS5 I really hope this collection is successful so we can get a Marvel vs. Capcom 5 in the future the only problem I have is that they gave us the The Punisher arcade beat him up instead of the X-Men arcade beat em up I think that would have been a better choice in my opinion but I'm still excited I was not expecting this

So the fate of MVC lies in this fighting collection. So if you want MVC again please buy and support this. On the other note...
The only way for MVC to regain back its fanbase after MVCI is a 100 character roster at launch AS A BIG APOLOGY LETTER!
50 for Marvel and 50 for Capcom. The roster needs to be based on Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, MVC2, U/MVC3 and MVCI. Rollback Netcode is a must and add 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, handicap matches!
And call it Marvel vs Capcom XL or XD. If the number system is destroyed. I am hoping the success of this fighting collection is the key to make it happen!

My guess is that it’s relevant to the one who commented and that both are occasions worth celebrating for them that happen to be near each other. You could maybe draw a comparison by saying MVC has been “emancipated” from the arcade/few console ports it had ages ago.
