That happened to me wity a frag but blew up. However, I didn't realize someone else was coming to shoot me at point blank in the back and they blew up too so it was worth it. Amusing film thx.

Aye Tope, can I get some advice for sniping in this game? I have relatively limited experience with it, and as far as I can tell, bullet drop in Dayz is fucking insane and the difference between 200 metres and 300 metres seems to *really* matter when irl it shouldn't really with rifle rounds. It should be the case with 308 or 7.62x54r that you can zero to 300 and as long as you aim centre of mass you're going to hit them in the face if it's 100 metres or below, or in the pelvis if it's more like 400, but this doesn't at all seem to work. Also, altitude seems to make a huge difference, which I only found out yesterday
